Meet the Author

I grew up the oldest child of my mother as an adult I have tried to rule myself by standards higher than my parents ethics were. As my website states I began working as boy cutting grass and though money has never been as important as the enjoyment of learning and helping others. As I grew from a boy to a man my first love was always airplanes and wanting nothing except to enter the Air Force after graduation and commune with the object I had coveted for so long. My dreams to fly hadn't worked out as well as I had dreamed though due to circumstance beyond my control. After the physical on my eighteenth birthday I learned of a serious health problem I hadn't been unaware of. I drifted a while finally getting into home construction. Strangely enough the same occupation my father had been in, and though it was fulfilling for a while mine was a curious mind and I knew I could achieve more. It took twenty years to find that other thing I was looking for to do. It turned out to be commercial heating and air conditioning work I learned heat pumps, refrigeration and air conditioning and could fix and install every one of them but I didn't really shine until I began working in the environmental and energy management controls division. I toiled away for almost twenty more years and enjoyed every minute of the work. When finally an old nemesis caught up with me sadly I was forced to retire. Other doors seemed to open and close but finally I had the time to revisit another dream which had been put on the back burner. One day I was sitting in my living room and the next I was at the local college signing up for ground school and began flying soon after. I flew at every opportunity savoring every moment. I had one stroke then a second one three years down the road; I'm fine now except for the usual ailments that get older people. When I was training to fly I became an even more responsible person and being than I had ever been learning to be a responsible Airman I grounded myself for good for the safety of others. Even today I live a mile from a small airport it takes a lot of control not to go to the airport and get into a plane go for a short trip. Today I keep myself busy fixing computers, working on my website and writing, it has been rewarding and the creation of fiction has also been an outlet for my mind. Whether in my career, in life or in my writings my mind is still as keen as it was as a youth and it has been my imagination that helped me succeed where others fail. Whenever I would run into a task that stumped me my imagination would find a way to work through it. If something stumps you get a picture of it in your mind first and then you can accomplish anything. I hope my story will inspire and make you want to know more about me by reading my fictional works as well as my self help books.
