I've been pondering for years as to how I might be able to afford the hunt of a lifetime but budget was always my constraint. It seemed possible if you knew the right people - but this 'insider's guide' is the key to being able to put together a great hunt with a working guy's budget in mind. I've got this to use already in planning a bow hunt in the rockies for next fall! If you are looking at ways to bring a dream hunt into an affordable range - and FINALLY be able to make that trophy elk or sheep hunt out west - This book is the resource you have been waiting for!!!

Nobody knows hunting like Mike Schoby, and his decision to share these stunning insights into amazing yet accessible hunting opportunities may earn him the ire of friends but will gain the reverence of his readers. This book can save anyone a lot of money, but more importantly it opens the door to the kind of quality outdoor adventures you may otherwise never experience.

I have been a hunter for over 30 years, hunting all over the u.s, hunting every kind of big game, shelling out big $ for big game hunts, I have had some great hunts dont get me wrong but for anyone of any age wanting to save some money and be self guided this book is a great help, I wish this book was around when I started hunting, but you are never to old to read a good hunting book that will help in many ways.

I¿ll be short, sweet, and to the point: this is a darn fine book. The author really sorts through all the bureaucratic, red-taped nightmares that is hunting on public land and gets straight to the how, why, where, and how much. I just got it and I¿m already planning a Washington black bear hunt.

The book is made up of a check list of things to consider to go hunting, but to me you think your buying a book to tell you how to archive the check list, instead your left with more unanswered questions of how.
