I've been a Dr. fan since the early 70's. I just got this book to kill time while waiting for the release of the sixth "Alchymyst" book. The story was well constructed with references to original series episodes. The plot, real historical characters, and settings were a pleasant surprise over the typical script novelization I was expecting. I'll be looking out for more of Andy Lane's work from now on.

This novel brings back memories of the old Doctor Who. I like the two latest Doctor Whos better. Smith and Tenant.

It was a nice Hartnell story in that I saw play in my head easily enough as if watching it on screen. What my biggest problem though in this ebook though, were the editing mistakes!
