    LOVE IT!

I love the cover because I love the movie Casablanca. The 11th Doctor almost looks like Boggy. I thought it was a great side story to the classic. If you are a Doctor Who or Casablanca fan it's one to read!

    Solid DW story

One thing I like about Doctor Who comics and the show they're based on is the variety of stories they tell. Volume one of the 11th Doctor series had a holographic email virus in the TARDIS and then the Doctor fighting Jack the Ripper. Here, the whole book is a homage to "Casablanca". Never seen the movie but I knew the references. I didn't want to like the story, but when it was over I was impressed with and Josh Hale Falkov's writing, he got all the characters voices down to a D. I found the villains a mite boring to how much I've seen them in the show but at least they weren't Daleks. Come to thing of it, I don't think I've seen them in any of the stories I've read.

Art wise, the artist has a real Mike Mignola vibe. Seriously; compare them, the styles are really similair. I almost wish someone else had drawn it, because I seen so much of this guy. Still, he did a good job on the art.

Overall, a good DW comic arc. I am now more intrigued in reading JHF's other books.
