    Awesome

I bought this book paperback and i absolutely adore this it. Its very well written and it flows perfectly. My only problem as an American whovian some of the language didnt fit for Texas and was very british. Haha but it is so worth the $10, its a very quick and fun read. You can feel the tension coming off the pages, see the Doctors goofiness and you can just imagine the look in his eyes. Buy it!

A Review you can rely on

This Doctor Who book is not dissapointing. This is because of the way the author writes his book. He uses the exact same language and actions as the characters do in the tv show we all watch and love. The doctor is the same. Clara is the same. If your looking for another Doctor Who adventure. This is the book for you.

No matter how much you enjoy the show, or the other books, or the comics, or the radio plays....this book is just bad!   Plot holes abound, the writing is atrocious, the dialogue seems like it was written by a 3rd-grader, and the antagonist is just downright silly.  The Shroud is the least scary Doctor Who villain I have ever read/seen/heard.  I would recommend this book for a grade-school level Whovian, but anyone aged 13 and up should stick to other Who books.

Something is feeding on the trauma and grief of the world in the days after the assassination of JFK in November 1963. People are seeing the faces of their deceased loved ones, and are shocked to find these visages are emotionally terrorizing them with bitter recriminations and manipulations. Oddly, these loved ones are appearing in coffee stains on tables, in raindrops, and other places. The Doctor and Clara stumble into Parkland Hospital in this time of sorrow and somehow manage to walk through the halls despite the presents of the feet in their mouths.

The problem is that now these manifestations now appear to their victims as veiled women appearing to mourn with their victims, but are in reality doing something else entirely. With the Tardis seemingly stuck in the hospital, The Doctor and Clara must be resourceful in order to solve the crisis before it consumes the whole world. The solution to this crisis happens to be...clowns? Yes, as hard as this is to believe, the object of many people's creep out is the solution to the problem facing earth in late 1963.

The book has all the features that you love about the 11th Doctor. The book is a quick and easy read.

BOTTOM LINE: If you love the 11th Doctor, you'll enjoy this book
