Excellent source of information about calorie, fat, and carbohydrate on different kinds of food and drinks. It is handy and colorful. Almost all the major fast food restaurants are listed in the book. There are small sections in the book giving you some pointers about health and healthy-eating-habits. I'm a subject in a major clinical trial (USA & Canada), and I'm part of the 'Intense' diabetes group. The educational part with food exchanges, diet and exercise is very important and tough, as I will be in this study for 7 years. While at the clinic, I was shown Mr. Borushek's book and strongly advised to purchase it. The color and page quality is excellent, and my CDE says it's the best one out there. THE POCKET CALORIE COUNTER IS AN EXCELLENT WAY TO COUNT CALORIES AND LOSE WEIGHT WITHOUT A LOT OF EFFORT. I HAVE BEEN USING THIS BOOK SINCE APRIL AND HAVE LOST 28 POUNDS! I HAVE GONE FROM A SIZE 16 TO A 12 AND HAVE SO MUCH MORE ENERGY. I HAVE TRIED OTHER DIETS LIKE THE CABBAGE DIET AND THE NO CARB DIET BUT THIS IS THE ONLY ONE WHERE I CAN EAT WHAT I WANT TO EAT JUST IN MODERATION.
