Pope Francis said that animals have a place in Heaven and so does this book. I am patiently waiting to be greeted once again by Knish, Fluffy, Cookie, and Angel. This is a wonderful book for children and a great feel-good- book for adults who have had a bad day.

Oh these are such lovely stories! I am a "dog mom" and I often wonder what our fur kids are thinking. Dogs are not just pets, they are members of our family. This collection of stories offers us a glimpse of the lives of some very special dogs. I like how the author is able to tie the dog tales to scripture. Children will love the stories and parents will enjoy reading them as well. There is a life lesson in each story. The illustrations are sweet and remind me of how much joy I got from reading when I was a child. Now, more than ever, we need some gentle storytelling like this. Overall, this is a wonderful children's book!

What a delightful story! My children LOVE the characters (of course now they think we need a house full of new dogs) But I loved the fact that the strong values and principles that my family strives to uphold were played out in the stories in a way that kids could understand them. I can't wait to see what stories Teresa comes up with next

This is one of the best books I've read for both children and adults. Teresa J. Herbic knows how to weave a story - so be prepared to laugh, to cry, but especially to remember the stories long after you have finished the book. I really can't say enough good things about "Dog Tales. Be prepared to love it, along with her other book "Cat Tales. Both of her books come highly recommended, and will be read over and over again - enjoyed equally as much each time as the first time you read it.

What a delightful book for children! Each story is unique and associates to a Bible verse that children can relate to in their lives. Teresa does a wonderful job in how each dog relates to humans and their feelings, and how truly wonderful the story of adoption is! The chapters are short enough to keep your child's attention, and there are lessons in there adults can take advantage of, especially when we need a reminder every once in awhile! All in all, a lovely book with relative stories with important Bible references
