    L. A. Knight is really Steve Alten.

Ive been a big fan of Steve Alten's books for years. I was reading his newsletter when he started endorsing a new novel from a first time writer named L A Knight. I didnt give it much thought until Steve revealed in a later newsletter that he is L A Knight. So I bought the book. While very different from Steve's usual fare, I enjoyed the book very much. I normally don't laugh out loud while reading, but i did several times with this book. You will not be disappointed. And its quite the steal for $2.99

    Fantastic and funny!

Was a little worried at first...thought I was venturing into bondage territory. I was wrong! Very witty, funny story. Plus, growing up in South Florida gave me an understanding of the locations. Looking forward to more from L.A. Knight. :-)

This is a really fun read! The title really intrigued me, and I couldn't wait to see what it was all about. I loved the characters. The lead female (Nancy) is a take-charge woman who knows what she wants and finds out how to get it. The lead male (Jacob) starts out a little rough around the edges, but is eventually polished into a great guy. The "supporting cast" is quirky and funny. I found myself laughing out loud while I was picturing some of the antics (I don't want to spoil it for you) of the various characters. Nancy has been disappointed by love in the past. Her new boyfriend (Jacob) saddles her with an unwanted German Shepherd (she was expecting a little white dog). She hires a dog trainer to help her handle dog, and realizes she might be able to use similar methods with Jacob to get him to help around the house and clean up his act a little. The results are mixed, but very funny. I highly recommend this book. It's a quick read and you'll find yourself laughing a lot.
