Freaky, scary, strange, could not put it down. A little over 100 pages. Long for this author his norm is around 20 pages. Readers 14 and up will get goosebumps from this Tales from the Darkside like story. AD

Wow creepy! Loved it. It had the mystery of, well a mystery and the creep factor of a good campfire story. There were also some deeper elements that if one wanted they could take something from them. Very very good short read. I'm certianly going to read more by this author. Thanks for the great story. I only gave it a four cause i could have read more lol

Horror isn't my usual reading fare, so I can’t say why I chose to read James Hampton's novella "Doll Baby." However, I’m very glad I did. The tale of a lonely male nobody, a man-harvesting monster whose Internet screen name is Doll Baby, and the police officer tracking her is quite entertaining. The finale featuring the three main characters is riveting. Highly recommended.
