Lola knows she can solve her problems with one phone call, but she may risk going too far
After submitting to a millionaire for a night, Lola Winters' dreams are suddenly within grasp-until she discovers Beau Olivier's money doesn't go as far as she'd thought. As unexpected costs appear and her relationship is tested, Lola begins to question what she really wants.
Lola knows she can solve her problems with one phone call, but she may risk going too far to have it all. Because she's not dealing with just anyone-Beau Olivier is a master. For Beau, there's no such thing as too far. There is only conquest. There is only victory.
Beau already possessed Lola's mind, body, and soul for a night, but it wasn't enough. Like Lola, he wants more than he got. But the more they have...the more there is to lose.

I couldn't put it down. Beau and Lola have a very strange love hate relationship. Johnny doesn't seem to care that Lola sells herself to get money for something he wants. Can't wait to see where this whole thing is going.
Night Call by Jessica Hawkins is the second book in her Night Fever series. So, they took the deal. Johnny and Lola agreed to have Lola spend one night (Sunup to sundown) with Beau in exchange for $1,000,000. Can their relationship survive this night? The cost of purchasing the bar has gone up from $500,000 to nearly $800,000 already eating into their hefty deposit from Beau. If they want to renovate and make the changes they've planned they'll need more money. Beau left an open invitation to have another night with Lola. Same deal. But she is still having a hard time coming down from the gamut of emotions that Beau made her feel about him, about herself, about her sexuality. She is beginning to resent Johnny and his overly laid-back attitude. He practically pushed her out the door towards Beau and is now wavering between aloof and angry. What will happen if/when Lola takes the deal? Can she survive another night with Beau with her emotions so out of control where he is concerned. What secret is Beau hiding from her and how will she react when she finds out. This book was explosive. Can't wait for more.
Night Call picks up where Night Fever leaves off. Lola and Johnny made a decision for their future, but soon find it wasn't enough. Lola already gave up a part of herself to Beau. How many more pieces does she need to give away before there's no turning back? GOOD GOD!! This book... that ending... ! ! ! ! From the first sentence, this book had a slow burn that gradually increased until the ending where it was a raging inferno and it felt like my heart might beat right out of my chest. And the sex scenes. There's one in particular where I could feel my face getting hot just reading it. There was nothing cookie cutter in THAT scene (fanning self). I crave that feeling of being thrown outside the box and not in your comfort zone, in a book. Night Call delivered... big time! The ending... I did not see it coming. AT ALL. It left me out of breath and hungry for more. Even now, days after I've finished the book, I still have that anxious feeing. If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would. Cannot wait for book #3!!
4.5 Stars Whoa! So many things happened in this installment that I totally didn't see coming. I love that part of reading books, when they totally take you by surprise. Lola and Johnny are way in over their head with this whole bar business stuff. They really didn't put much thought into what they were getting themselves into and now they find themselves in a tough spot. Not to mention, their relationship is on rocky grounds with all the tension and guilt weighing them down. Beau really did a number on Lola and now she finds herself more confused than ever. Beau is a planner. But what happens when your doesn't go the way you expected? Tension is building. Relationships are crumbling. Hearts are being broken. Can Lola and Johnny's relationship survive this whole ordeal? Was this whole sacrifice worth it? And what will Beau do next? Ugh! Cliffhanger and so many questions!!! I need the next installment ASAP! I was cursing Jessica Hawkins towards the end. She totally had me so consumed and now I'm left craving more. Jessica does a great job keeping your attention throughout and really sucking you in. I can't wait to see what she has in store next.
