Born in New York City in 1957, Celia S. Friedman discovered speculative fiction at age ten and instantly recognized it to be the ultimate form of literature in the universe. Her published works include The Coldfire Trilogy (Black Sun Rising, When True Night Falls, Crown of Shadows), In Conquest Born, This Alien Shore, The Madness Season, The Wilding, the Magister Trilogy (Feast of Souls, Wings of Wrath, Legacy of Kings) and White Wolf’s Erciyes Fragments. In her spare time she plays with molten glass and chats with fans on Facebook. Currently she lives in Northern Virginia with two Maine Coon wannabees, who like to help with the typing.
