"Born in Brooklyn" speaks volumes. Especially back in the day:when Brooklyn was home to the Dodgers; Coney Island was the nation's playground; Nathan's hotdogs were the world's best; and, Prospect Park was better known than Central Park. Lots of things were made in Brooklyn in those day, lots of people were made by Brooklyn, too, and the most successful Brooklyn export was moxie!
Mr. Barash counts the Borough of Brooklyn as a great influence in his life.
He's spent most of that life in theater as actor, director, producer, and acting teacher. He's had numerous successes off-Broadway and in regional theaters; has worked with many stars of stage, film, and television; and is an original member of the Actors Studio Directors Unit.
Mr. Barash has always "scribbled" - as far back as he can remember he has been fascinated by language, by words - the pictures they paint; the emotions they evoke; the clarity they provide; the meaning they bring to existence; and the awe, transcendence, magic they create.
