Jack Reacher: Friend or Enemy?

It’s been a while since we first met Lee Child’s Jack Reacher in Killing Floor. Fifteen years and sixteen novels later, Reacher still lives off the grid, until trouble finds him, and then he does whatever it takes, much to the delight of readers and the dismay of villains. Now someone big is looking for him. Who? And why? Hunting Jack Reacher is a dangerous business, as FBI Special Agents Kim Otto and Carlos Gaspar are about to find out. Otto and Gaspar are by-the-book hunters who know when to break the rules; Reacher is a stone cold killer. Reacher is a wanted man, but is he their friend or their enemy? Only the secrets hidden in Margrave, Georgia will tell them.

Good read but disappointing for Jack Reacher fans!

Enjoyable plot and story, filled with appropriate tension, twists, and thrills, but the search for Jack Reacher never ties into this book. A decent read on its own without the expectation of weaving Reacher into the ride.

As an avid Jack Reacher fan, I was hesitant to purchase You Don't Know Jack.  Actually, after reading every Jack Reacher book in the series, I feel that I do know him well. Whether you're a newby to the series or a die hard fan, you're sure to enjoy this fast paced thriller.  We find the main character up against the FBI and other seemingly insurmountable obstacles.  A combination of Jason Bourne, James Bond and Mike Tyson rolled into one man, Reacher has the cunning instincts and almost super human ability to over come. Author Diane Capri has done a stellar job with this book and it is no wonder that it was in the top 5 when I purchased it.  I sailed through the pages as seamlessly as Reacher dispatching lesser men in a bar fight.  LOVED it!.

    Good pace. FBI mystery.

Entertaining, but expected Jack Reacher to "Show". Would recommend book to mystery fans. Plan to read more by author.

It is good to revisit some of the characters of the first Jack Reacher story.I have enjoyed the excellent story around the beginning of the Jack Reacher series, less Jack .

    Reacher fans check it out

It was a well written book about one of my favorite characters. And it was funny to read as the title person never really appears in the book. But it was a fast read, enjoyable, and I would read another in the series. Thanks Diane.

Can only say one thing...AWESOME !

Met my expectations and exceed them. Worth the read, especially if you read Lee Child's first Reacher release, Killing Floor.

My new favorite author!! Love Lee Childs and this rates right up there!

Although Jack Reacher was not a big part of the story, it was a VERY interesting read, read it until late in the evening, hard to put down. I will definitely get more books by this author.

    Bait and Switch

The only Reacher in this book is his name in print. One assumes that Jack will apprear at some point but it ends as it began with the promise of Jack Reacher but not delivered. A bit of a scam on the part of the author.
