    Jerks

    Book title and author: Don't Let Jerks Get the Best of You by Dr. Paul Meier
    Title of review: Jerks

    Dr. Meier investigates human behavior concluding that most people are at least a first-degree jerk. He pointed out the levels of "jerkiness" as being first-degree, second degree, and nth degree. Several tests are shown to allow you as to a personal insight on the level you stand.
    Description and summary of main points
    Meier gives many comical examples on instances where he has shown jerky behavior and gives the levels on which his actions fit. He also states that you may be a masochist and become a target for people to get to you. The doctor provides ways to deal with insults when they are brought upon you. He states many biblical passages saying things such as "You see the sawdust speck in the eye of your brother, but you are reluctant to notice the plank in your eye. You want to remove the speck, yet it is hard to remove a speck when a plank is blocking your view.
    Evaluation
    The book gives many insights and appropriate advice as to properly dealing with these issues. The book gives you a greater chance of becoming a better person and maybe even a mature adult.
    Conclusion
    In conclusion, the book has many accurate occurrences and seems as if it will allow you to maintain a much healthier lifestyle in the way of your mental and emotional status.

    I would recommend this book to everyone as everyone will come across some sort of behavior in which the person resembles a jerk. Many people get depressed and lose self-worth due to this behavior, but this book acts as a way of coping and favorably reducing any form of mental stress.
