Meet the Author

Susie Martinez is the elementary director of Southern Gables Church in Littleton, Colorado. She graduated from Taylor University with a degree in social work. The mother of two, Susie, her family live in Lakewood, Colorado.

Bonnie Garcia is a graduate of Grace College. A pediatric nurse, she is also the busy mother of three sons. Bonnie, her husband, Steve, and their family live in Denver, Colorado.

    You must get this book!

    This is THE best book for freezer cooking. The recipes in it are wonderful. You will love Cranberry Chicken, Christmas Quiche, North West Wild Rice Soup and all the other great recipes. Real food that is friendly enough for the kids and just a bit upscale for the adults.

    So/So

    The recipes in this book are great, my only issue is there is an entire section that is not really made for the freezer! The title is Don't Panic - Dinner's in the FREEZER, yet many of the recipes state at the END of the recipe "This dish is best if made on the day it is to be used" If I wanted a regular make and eat cookbook, I would not have purchased one that had FREEZER in the title!

    Great Book especially for beginners learning to cook multiple meals at one time.

    One of the best cookbooks I own. I have tried several recipes and my family likes them. The charts that increase the recipes for 3, 6 or 9 times are very useful. Many of the recipes you prepare the ingredients and then freeze. When item is needed, then it is defrosted and cooked. I also like the information on how to freeze without freezer burn and maximizing freezer space. I would agree with another review that there is not alot of vegetarian recipes and about half of the book is meat recipes.

    Love it

    This is one of the best prepare and freeze books out there. I have tried many recipies and have enjoyed them all. My five year old, who is very picky, has also liked most of the meals. I would highly recommend!

    Great buy

    This book has excellent recipes and tips. I would highly recommmend getting it. With a 2 year old and another on the way, I plan on making a lot of meals in advance to save me a lot of headache! So far all the recipes I've made have been very tasty. I love that it has already done the math for you if you want to double or triple the recipe. ;)
