This is an easy-to-read, easy-to-understand, practical book for negotiating in the new millennium. This book is filled with strategies and techniques that you can implement immediately. The book contains unique and often humorous contemporary approaches to negotiating compiled from real life, real world scenarios. It will quickly enable you to identify the key factors in any negotiation by: thinking before you speak; maintaining emotions; asking for something you want, and then asking again; asking for something you don't want; saying no; not turning a buyer into a shopper; discovering aspiration levels; deciding what is reasonable and what is ridiculous; discovering the three tenses of any negotiation; determining ethical flexibility; being greedy, stingy, and selfish; and more.
Don't Say Yes - Negotiate! is the perfect "on the go" guide that will enable you to quickly identify the other side's tactics and strategies and allow you to defend yourself ensuring better negotiations for both sides. It makes absolutely no difference if you negotiate at garage sales, at home, or at a major corporation-you can become a better negotiator.

Great book for on the go negotiations. I read it on the plane and then skimmed it again just before walking in. I felt better prepared and more on my game. I'm giving it away to everyone in the sales force at the office. It'll make me look good to the VP and it will certianly help our sales. I recommend this fun and helpful read. Was this review helpful?
