Meet the Author

Missy Buchanan is the author of three enlarged-print books: Living with Purpose in a Worn-Out Body, Talking with God in Old Age, and Don't Write My Obituary Just Yet. All are published by Upper Room Books; the latter will release in April 2011. Buchanan has written articles for numerous magazines, including Southern Living and has made appearances on national TV shows including HGTV's Smart Solutions, Lifetime TV's, Our Home, and Good Morning America. She also writes a monthly column, "Aging Well," for The United Methodist Reporter. In addition to her writing ministry, Buchanan speaks regularly to older adult groups, churches, and women's groups.
