One of my favorite Nero Wolfe books, The Doorbell Rang portrays Wolfe and Goodwin as they go up against the FBI! The twists, turns, and suspense make for a very satisfying conclusion. Long-time fans as well as those new to Nero Wolfe will enjoy this book.

I truly enjoyed this Nero Wolfe novel, I believe it is my favorite one. I had seen this on the TV series Nero Wolfe and had wondered if it truly reflected the novel. It did. I was very pleased. I am eager to read the other novels written by Rex Stout to see if they measure up to this one.
