Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
Dot and Dash are a cat and dog who appear to be fast friends. They also seem to live lives like young toddlers. Today they have decided to play dress up. Dot has decided to be a pirate and Dash helps Dot find the perfect hat. When Dash wants to be a wizard Tall (a giraffe friend), helps locate a magic wand. Not to be outdone, Tall wants to be a superhero and with the help of Big (an elephant) a cape is just the thing. Big has decided to be a ballet dancer and seeing an elephant in toes shoes is, indeed, quite a site. Even more amusing is Small (a mouse) holding a tutu for Big. Who ends up with the best costume of all? Small, who appears as a very large dragon could be the winner. Certainly a book that can be used at Halloween or anytime kids might want to play dress up. In the back there are stickers and the places in the book are marked. There are extra stickers for kids to put anywhere they please. Obviously a personal purchase. Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot
