Reports of a creature roaming the mountain slopes, terrorizing hikers, and mutilating cattle make Sam wonder if a bear, a man, or even Big Foot is hiding in the hills. But Police Chief Forrest Wade's primary suspect is Billy Wingo, a bear-like mountain man who matches the killer's description.
Sam must survive the harsh mountains, deep hard-rock mines, and a conspiracy of greed and corruption long enough to uncover the truth.

I could NOT put this book down. Hooked from page 1, I bonded with this book until that last page--even then, I didn't want it to end. My husband also read it like an addict. We are now committed fans of D.P. LYLE. His talent is phenomenal and we both are starving for his next novel.

A slickly paced mystery thriller set in the beauty of the Colorado mountains. D.P. Lyle dazzles the reader with intrigue and deftly paints an evolving caricature of his leading lady - Samantha Cody. An all consuming book!!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
