Editorial Reviews

Goodreads - Alice Siempelkamp
A fast-paced, gripping, can't-put-down read. The hero is a little heroic, a little geeky; the women are strong, mysterious, and beautiful. When they all come together, big things happen. All in all a terrific combination.
Amazon.com - Thomas Galligan
This is a really good, fast paced story. The main character gets into so many binds that you want to scream at him not to make that next mistake, which of course he does. Beautiful women lead him into dangerous situations, because he is human enough to let desire make his decisions, instead of his obvious intelligence. Who hasn't been there? The plot is ingenious but plausible, and the tempo is unrelenting.
Amazon.com - Jill Quist
I picked "Double Blind" by Geoff Loftus because I wanted a fun summer read. It more than hit the mark and would have been just as good any time of year. The gripping opening reminded me why I have an aversion to tall buildings and the plot had enough twists and turns to keep up a good pace. For history buffs, there was a fringe benefit-lots of interesting facts and trivia sprinkled throughout the book. Loftus has a good ear for dialogue and keeps you turning the page with his action sequences.
Amazon.com - Ted Berk
Geoff Loftus writes like a cross between Tom Clancy and Aaron Sorkin. Double Blind would make a TERRIFIC movie. You don't just follow how the characters perform, you become involved with them. The book is exciting with a capital X.

I started this book at 10:00 PM and could not put it down. Fours hours later and bleary eyed I finally hit a "stopping point", if there is one in this book. I could hardly wait to finish the next day's work to come back to the book. Two short hours later I was done. Double Blind is extremely well written, very readable and full of action. So many twists and turns that I lost count. The comparison to Tom Clancy and others is right on. I can't wait until Geoff's next book.

Meet the Author

Geoff Loftus is the author of Lead Like Ike: Ten Business Strategies from the CEO of D-Day and was the 2010 Keynote Speaker at the Eisenhower Legacy Dinner at the Eisenhower Presidential Museum and Library. He has been gainfully employed in business journalism and corporate communications for more than a quarter-century. Working both freelance and on staff, he has worked for Condé Nast, Deloitte Consulting, Fairchild Publications and News Corp., as well as non-profit organizations such as The Conference Board and the Society of Corporate Secretaries & Governance Professionals. Like many writers, he once dreamed of writing the great American novel but gave that up in an attempt to write the great American screenplay. The closest he came to that lofty achievement was writing Hero in the Family with John Drimmer for The Wonderful World of Disney. He has been a member of the Writers Guild of America, East for more than twenty years. He lives in Scarsdale, New York with his wife, Margy; son, Gregory; and the family's wonderful little dog, Heidi.

Double Blind is Mr. Loftus's first published novel.
