    Sam Giancana-Double Cross Book Review

An intricate insight into the mechanics of the worlds largest and most deadly secret society, Double Cross opens the door on the daily operations of 'The Outfit'. Opening with the horrific and brutal upbringing of an unwanted child in Chicago's Little Italy, Double Cross details how Sam 'Mooney' Giancana developed into the longest serving Godfather the American Mafia has ever known. For me personally, I found it deeply disturbing from the offset. During his most formative years it becomes clear to the reader that any emotions he posessed as a human being were stripped from him whilst tied to the infamous oak tree in his parents back garden. If you are fortunate enough to obtain a copy of 'Double Cross', I guarentee your outlook on life will never be the same again. It reveals the real workings of Hollywood and it's most influential stars, and more importantly, it depicts in great detail the the realities behind operations such as, 'The Bay Of Pigs', the JFK assasination, the death of Maryln Monroe and much, much more. Rarely has a book fueled my thoughts to such a degree. Highly reccomendable.
