    a celebrity yes, a chef, no!

    basic recipes and the portions are so small! 2 chicken breasts for a family of 4??? you will need to double all the recipes! if she was not jerry's wife, she would never have authored a book. save your money, america! they are rich enough! sorry, i had to say that!

    Delicious Indeed!

    I didn't buy Jessica's first book but this one is fantastic. I am a new mom and have enough puree in my freezer for all the babies in my neighborhood. Therefore, I thought this book would give me a head start on heathly meals for my family of 3...and reduce some of my puree inventory. Tried the Salmon burgers out on my husband tonight and he LOVED them. Getting book #1 tonight. Great book for new moms...that are making their own babyfood...and want to serve healthy meals for everyone.

    NOT a Cookbook for Busy, Complicated Lives!

    This is not a cookbook for busy, complicated lives! I saw her on Oprah and was interested in the recipes she did on the show (which are not in the book by the way). Did not realize it was another puree book (no purees on the show)... but OK I gave it a try. Spent a day making purees. All the recipes take much longer to prepare than it says it will. The sweet and sour meatballs recipe Very confusing and a big mess! What do you bake when? I had to add the oatmeal too and was able to salvage the meal. The bacon egg cups looked like a yummy, fun breakfast. Don't do it it was terrible!! It tasted and smelled like over done cauliflower! I like cauliflower but this was awful. No one in my family would eat it(not even the dog!). To be fair my family liked the teriyaki chicken and the baked ziti but as far as the rest not impressed. I was very disappointed.

    SOUR RECIPE for Sweet and Sour Meatballs

    I'd like to point out an error in Jessica Seinfeld's new cook book Double Delicious. In the Sweet and Sour Meatballs recipe on page 74 she indicates to preheat the oven to 350 degrees, however, in the rest of the recipe does not ever instruction to put anything in the oven. The meatballs need to be seared then cooked in the oven, but the recipe does not indicate this. Also, once I made the meat mixture it was a sloppy mess that I could not roll into balls. I had to add an additional cup of dry oatmeal to get the right consistency.

    Excellent!

    Great for healthy family cooking! I am so thankful for Jessica Seinfield's wonderful ideas. I have made nearly 20 recipes and they all have been delicious.
