Overview

Up and coming football hero, Colt Michaels, makes a Hail Mary pass one night in the college locker room that results in the hottest, sexiest five days of his young life. However, interference after the play has him hiding his past and burying his future in the bottom of a bottle. While Colt seems to have it all, looks can be deceiving especially when you're trapped so far in a closet that you can't see your way out. When ten years of living his expected fast-lane lifestyle lands him engaged to his manipulative Russian supermodel girlfriend, he decides it's time to call a new play.

Jace Montgomery single-handily built the largest all-star cheerleading gym in the world, driven by a need to forget a life-altering encounter with a handsome quarterback a decade ago. His reputation as an excellent coach, hard-nosed business man, and savvy entrepreneur earned him respect in the sometimes catty world of competitive cheerleading. When Jace learns of his ex-lover's plans to marry, his heart executes a barrel roll and his carefully placed resolve tumbles down without a mat to absorb the shock. Can his island escape help him to finally let go of the past and move his life forward?

Swoon Worthy Reviews - Ena Burnette
Kindle Alexander did it again. After Texas Pride and The Current Between Us she went a brought me another amazingly swoon worthy read that melted my heart and made me shiver. Never before have had I found an author that writes in this genre that captivates me with her words from the very beginning. Her characters come to life right before your eyes and will always have a special place in my heart. This is the story of Colt Michaels and Jace Montgomery and it’s breathtaking.
Review - Becca's Book
Kindle has a way of telling a story, that makes you want to love them both, and slap them both and tell the to wake up. Colton makes a choices that forever changes both of their lives. now he knows that he must pick up the pieces of his life, and hopefully it will put him on the path back to Jace.

Meet the Author

Best Selling, and newly award winning (whooo hooo!) Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica. It's always a surprise to see what's coming next! Happily married with too many children, and dogs, living in the suburbs of Dallas.

Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life - I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations - regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal... I don't want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I'm going to tell you about Kindle.

I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died - weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.

That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.

Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.

Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to meet my writing partner. I would have never gotten through those dark days without her unwavering support and guidance. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. For the first time I used the hand offered. I know without question I wouldn't be here today without her. It takes a special person to come stand beside someone at a time like that. I will love her forever. I could go on and on about both of them, but I won't and now you know a little more About Me.

Double Full (A Nice Guys Series) (Kindle Edition)
I bought Double Full a few months ago for my kindle because the cover looked hot and it was on special. Stupid me didn't realize it was a M/M book until I started reading it the other day. I've never read this type of book before and thought, great, this is going to be a book with nothing but male on male sex with no plot.
I couldn't have been more wrong! This book was AMAZING!!! Once I started it I literally had great difficulty putting it down. What an awesome author you are!! You weave fascinating characters through an engrossing story and do it with style!
I can't wait until Full Disclosure comes out!
Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with your readers.

This book was amazing, fabulous, wonderful...  I loved it.  Seve

This book was amazing, fabulous, wonderful...  I loved it.  Several days after reading it Colt and Jace's story still runs through my head.

Colt had been watching Jace from afar.  Jace is everything that Colt has ever wanted.  He finally makes his move in the men's locker room late one evening during heir senior year of college.  After this encounter they both know that they want more.  When Colt invites Jace on an all expense paid trip to Hawaii with him Jace is sure that it is all too good to be true.  When he gets there and finds out that everything that Colt has said to him is true he is blissfully ecstatic.  At least until they return home.  When Colt completely blows him off he resigns himself to the fact that they will only have those few perfect days in paradise.  They both move on with their lives.  Colt as a famous football player and Jace as the owner of the largest all-star cheer gym in the country.

When Jace learns of Colt's engagement to a Russian supermodel he runs to the only place that he can think of.  The little piece of paradise that he had shared with Colt all of those years ago.  Here he hopes to make new memories and finally put Colt behind him.  Little does Jace know that the only reason that Colt left him all those years ago to protect him.  Or that Colt lives in a drunken stupor.  Or that the only reason he is engaged is to, once again, protect Jace.  When Colt finally comes to his senses, gets clean and decides that he is done letting everyone else control his life all he can hope is that it is not too late for him and Jace.

Jace was great, but Colt won my heart.  Where Jace was all blatantly wonderful and kind and forgiving, Colt was broken and hard on the surface, but underneath would do anything for the person that he loved. Colt spent a decade living a life that he hated to protect the only person that he had ever given his heart to.  At every turn there was someone wanting something from him without ever caring about him, yet his whole life was constructed around protecting Jace.  I absolutely loved him.  He was far from perfect, but it made him so much easier, for me, to care about.

Jace and Colt's story was far from easy  These two don't know what easy is when it comes to love.  As such a public figure in the sports world Colt had to spend most of his time denying who he really was.  Jace's career as a cheerleader made it easier for his sexuality to be acceptable.  Not to say that he doesn't have his own struggles but his lifestyle makes his sexuality more acceptable.  There are so many forces trying to force Jace and Colt apart that it was heartbreaking.

Kindle told a massively intriguing story that had me on pins and needles from the start.  I had to know what happened.  The story was heart warming, and heart wrenching, and everything in between.  There was nothing that I would have changed in the book.  The struggles make the happy parts that much more wonderful.

I would suggest Double Full to anyone who reads M/M romance.  The love between Jace and Colt was just as wonderful as the love between any straight couple I've read about.  There were love scenes and they were relayed in a completely tasteful way.  This genre might not be for everyone but this book should be read by anyone who reads romance.  There was just nothing about it that was not beautiful.

Double Full is the first book in the Nice Guys series.  I can not wait until Book Two, Full Disclosure comes out!

Sometimes years and distance can¿t extinguish a love that is so

Sometimes years and distance can’t extinguish a love that is so right, but fear can stop you from acting on it. Colt and Jace are two young men that found a strong love and connection in college but when a controlling father steps in they are separated for ten years never knowing what could have been. After ten long years of thinking “what if” they get a second chance, but it won’t be easy but when love is strong it can withstand anything. I loved this book and author. I am reading her backlist because of how awesome it is. The romance between Colt and Jace is sweet and pure. Their love story made my heart smile.

I really enjoyed reading the M/M romance novel by Kindle Alexand

I really enjoyed reading the M/M romance novel by Kindle Alexander. I have read many M/M romances but most are not full length. This was a nice change and left more room to go in to detail with the story. This book was the story of how hard it is to be a jock and be gay. The struggles of falling in love but not knowing how to face the disapproval. It was very emotional and heartfelt. I give it 5 stars and look forward to reading more books by Kindle.

Double Full is the first book in the Nice Guys series and alread

Double Full is the first book in the Nice Guys series and already has me impatiently waiting for book 2. Star football player  Colt has been admiring cheerleader Jace from afar for years.  When a chance encounter in the locker room leads to the five best days of both men's lives, they both believe they have finally found the love and relationship they have been waiting for.  Colt's father is an abusive former NFL player who has a very specific idea of how his son's life should go and believes that having an out and proud son would make that future impossible. When Colt is violently denied the opportunity to be with Jace he does what he feels he must to protect him and spends the next 10 years relying on alcohol to get himself through.  Both characters continue to love each other over the years and follow each other's lives and careers without having any actual contact.  When Colt finally hits the bottom and realizes he is finally in a position to take some control he goes after the man that he loves.  Kindle Alexander knows how to write an angst filled, highly emotional, and sexy story.  There were times when this book made me laugh and cry.  The characters are sympathetic and believable and the sexytimes will have you fanning yourself.

From the very first page, hell the first paragraph I was pulled

From the very first page, hell the first paragraph I was pulled into this story.  I wanted to know more about these men from their pasts to where they were headed in the future. We are taken on a journey with Colt and Jace’s whirlwind spring break, to the devastating circumstances that tears them apart (don’t want to spoil it for anyone). When fate brings them back together, I was elated and grinning from ear to ear. I have to say Kindle Alexander had me crying by the end, I was a nervous wreck!  But as always, during the ups and downs of her stories it is totally worth it in the end.

I have been a fan of Kindle since I first read The Current Betw

I have been a fan of Kindle since I first read The Current Between Us, actually I think it was when I read the teaser for that book. So when I first started this book, I had really high expectations because her prior books were so well written.
But I have to say that this book COMPLETELY caught me off guard. There were aspects in it that I could not see coming. At all; this is obviously true because I was shocked when things happened in the story.
The characters themselves were written very well. The attention to detail that was given to each of them was just great.
Usually I don’t like stories where there are major time jumps in them. But with this one, I loved how she was able to work them into the story. Even when there was a multiple year jump, she thought to add the information to fill you in on what had happened. Instead of just skimming over some details that some authors wouldn’t think to add, Kindle was able to add to the story. We found out what had been happening with the guys and still find out new information at the same time.
I also liked how Colt and Jace they just seemed to know. Their relationship from the start hadn’t been an easy one. So it was really great to me when they got their happy ending. I am upset with Jace because I would have made him beg. But that’s just me! The love between the two of them you could see without a doubt that they were meant for each other.
Overall I do have to say that this is the best book by Kindle that I have read. And I can’t wait, even though there isn’t a real “cliffhanger” ending, we were introduced to another character and I really want to have his story!
This is a complete must read from me!

This is the third book I¿ve read by Kindle Alexander, and hot DA

This is the third book I’ve read by Kindle Alexander, and hot DAMN I can’t wait for the rest of the series. This is a M/M book and so much more. The story centers on Colt Michaels and Jace Montgomery a male cheerleader and gym owner.  They meet while in college. Colt is deeply in the closet.  Jace not so much. Colt is drawn to Jace and for lack of a better word stalks him, but in a good way.  He is so enamored with Jace.  Over the years everything he learns about Jace makes him fall harder.  Until finally he lets his feelings and desire for Jace push him to act.  The fallout is amazing.  What happens next is both beautiful and ugly.  Tender and painful. They are forced apart.  Ten years later we find Colt slowly killing himself.  He’s so filled with loathing for his life that he hurts himself and doesn’t give a damn who gets in his way. No love, no hope.  Jace is healthier in body, but he’s also broken.  Jace has many successes but his heart is gone.  When they come back together it’s nothing short of spectacular.  Jace is scared that this will end as before but Colt is all in.  He’s ready to love Jace no matter the consequences and there are many.  This is an honest, painful, and healing love story. Their friendship is beautiful; their love and devotion stunning.  They’re both scared and that fear forces them to push the other away but fortunately their bond is stronger.  I feel like gushing.  I identified with both of them and the relationship they build is so powerful.  K.A. writes a story that is funny, sad, hopeful and ultimately triumphant.

Once I started reading Double Full, I was completely absorbed in

Once I started reading Double Full, I was completely absorbed into the first scene of the beautiful, lean Jace Montgomery and hot quarterback Colt Michaels having sex in the shower. Right then I knew this was going to be an amazing book by Kindle Alexander. Jace has always had a thing for Colt but not knowing that Colt has been crushing on Jace since they first met. At first you get the feeling that Jace will be falling for Colt but then you realize that it's actually Colt that is falling for him. I just loved how Kindle added a twist and it was actually Colt chasing the beautiful Jace.

The gut wrenching scenes of Colt's father confronting him on his relationship with Jace and the bar scene where Jace's heart is completely broken was hard to read but at the same time beautifully done. Kindle takes us on a journey of pure romantic love, alcoholism, bigotry and forgiveness.

The way Kindle brings Colt and Jace too life is just so beautifully done and you can feel their burning love for each other. It's been a long time since I have felt such a connection to a book like this. Once I put the book down, I was constantly thinking of Jace and Colt. They were no longer just words in a book, I felt like I knew Colt and Jace and I wanted more and more. Double Full will be in my heart for some time to come. I completely recommend this book too anyone who want to read about what the true meaning of love is. "Reviewed by Paul at Crystal's Many Reviewers"

Bonus Scene at Shh Mom's Reading This story of all-star all-amer

Bonus Scene at Shh Mom's Reading
This story of all-star all-american quarterback Colton Micheals and all-star cheerleader Jace Montgomery is one that will sit with me for a long-time to come. This was the kind of book that as I forced myself to close my kindle to attend to life, my mind kept drifting back to the story and I anxiously counted the minutes unit I could re-join Colt and Jase.

The prologue of this book grabs your attention with some wicked crazy heat but within just a few short chapters this man will also have a hold on your heart.

Colt is the star-quarterback set to go leave college with high hopes of being drafted into the NFL. Jase is male cheerleader who never dreamed this all-american superstar was gay, let alone interested in him. Colt is not only interested, he proves to Jace he has wanted him for a long time; this was too cute!

To me this book asked the question; What does hiding cost you? When you can’t be yourself or live in your own skin, is that truly living?

Double Full was a painful journey for these men, one openly gay the other not only in the closet but living a world where coming out could cost him everything.

There were times during this story my heart hurt, literally ached for these men. It was amazing to me that Ms. Alexander was able to make my heart ache for both men at times during this book. The range of emotions she gets the reader to feel in this book truly speaks to what a wonderful talent Ms. Alexnader has for storytelling.

As with her other stories, I adored that Ms. Alexander’s characters connected a bit later in life; a time when they can truly understand how rare love is and how much it truly is worth fighting for.

Ms. Alexander not only gave me secondary characters to love but she gave me one to hate. For as much as I adored Dr. Knox, the team physician for Colt’s pro-football team; Larry Micheals, Colt’s father is a man I think I will loth for some time to come. Both were truly used not only as part of the story line but also to make Colt and Jace’s struggle real.

I really do not want to give away the story line of this book as I feel the reader needs to experience this journey for themselves; it is powerful, engaging and one that will stick with me!

The end of the book truly made me smile; no – the world is not perfect, no – life does not always turn out like you wanted or imagined but happy can come in many forms.
For Colt and Jace, their happy is likely not one either of them pictured but it warmed my heart, touched my soul and truly honored these men’s struggles.

Please note you do not need to be a football or sports fan to love this story; this story is about two men and their struggle to find happy.

I truly hope to see more of these characters and to learn more about the trouble that almost cost Colt and Jace everything.

Oh and Ms. Alexander; yes I want to know more about Mitch Knox, Dr. Knox’s son!

I am very much looking forward to the release of Full Disclosure book 2 in this series.

I have a new favorite Kindle Alexander book; better yet a new top of my M/M read list recommendation.

Reviewed by Francesca and posted at Under The Covers Book Blog

Let’s call this my surprise introduction to Kindle Alexander.  I’ve seen these books around for a while and I have to confess, the cover whore in me always loves the covers.  But I’ve also seen the books hyped so much that I was really nervous to read them because, quite frankly I was expecting a let down.

With that mindset going in, DOUBLE FULL grabbed my attention from the get-go.  I’m a sucker for m/m college stories, especially if they involve sports.  Another great thing about this was the gay-for-you angle.  First we have Colton Michaels, the star of the team.  He’s straight, he gets all the girls, he’s got a bright future in sports ahead of him.  But he can’t seem to stop thinking about the hot male cheerleader, Jace.  Except one night he decides to go for it and takes everything he’s ever wanted from Jace in the locker room.  Then takes him away on a 5 day vacation.  The best 5 days of his life.  But life has a way of ruining that happiness and his father forces him back on the straight path and onto the NFL.
A decade later, Jace owns a successful cheerleading school and Colton is a star quarterback for a team.  But both are having less than stellar personal lives.  Maybe it’s time they both come to terms with the fact they’ve never gotten over each other.

DOUBLE FULL is HOT!  Jace and Colton were hot then and they are hot now.  It was also cute to see them tiptoeing around each other at times.  Colton has managed to seriously hurt Jace in the past, and I was also happy to see that it wasn’t just “hey let’s forget everything happened and live happily ever after” for these two.  I would’ve still wanted to see some more groveling, but that’s just me.  Colton has also gone through a lot and even though it took a while for him to find the guts to do the right thing, he still did it with style in the end. ;)

The brief glimpse at the end about Mitch definitely has me interested in the next book and I will be reading it soon!  It seems it’ll be a completely different feel than this one because of the storyline, but if the writing is as good as this one, no problem!  I will be reading more by Kindle Alexander for sure in the near future, another addition to my must read m/m authors list.

I did love the story, but it could have used a few less exclamation points and more editing--Using "too" when you mean "to" and vice versa was just---not right. Also, some of the language and dialogue was kind of--formal and stilted. Like I said, I liked the story, and I'll read the second one, but I can only hope that the mistakes were corrected :)
