Overview

He could resist anything but temptation! She was determined not to be seduced!

Read why this erotic duo has been on FB's What to Read After 50 Shades of Grey - top 50 books - for over 20 months & keeps climbing that list #13! (2/11/2014)

And now - Double Occupancy is on an APP!! - The WTRAFSOG APP is NOW AVAILABLE from iTunes, Amazon and the Google Play Store!

Meet Casey Reynolds – she is NOT thin, clueless, virginal or submissive.

Which is exactly why Travis Craig wanted to 'kick down her door and throw her on that bed.'

Read the couple that reviewers have said: "their witty banter will have you laughing but their hot and steamy moments will have you begging for more." "a book with solid characters & lots of humor" "amazing read, I wish it was longer."

Meet the Keurig killer - she kills IPhones too! - who makes one tough alpha male go down on his knees...and a few other positions as well!

____________________________________________________________________________

All Casey Reynolds wanted was peace and quiet and a long vacation from covering the crime beat in Boston. That's why she agreed to borrowing a villa in Mexico to rest, be alone and work on her novel.

But then he showed up -- Travis Craig. He said he was offered the villa to recover from a serious illness. He had just lost his teaching job and had no money to leave.

She agreed with his plan to share the house -- but on her terms. Soon rest and relaxation were a thing of the past when their double occupancy proved too erotic to control.

"It was a stupid idea, sharing this place. It's not like a co-ed dorm, it's just you and me, not a bunch of people. And it's quite obvious that all this togetherness has just made our hormones go crazy.

"Yes, that's it…we are just two horny people being controlled by hormones. Between you being sick, then playing Tarzan and our trip to the jungle lagoon and all those olives and too much sun, and wet bathing suits. And you getting mad over the seven erotic knights – with a k, and my bad sunburn. Then me being Cleopatra with the perky ass and the milk baths and position number thirty-eight in the Kama Sutra.

"And you playing doctor and all that clinical foreplay and…and our underwear tumbling around in the washer and dryer together and wet bathing suits and you naked with a staple in your navel and –" her words skidded to a halt, she took a breath and realized she wasn't making any sense. "God, I need a frozen cheesecake.

At his snicker, Casey squared her shoulders. "Don't even go there, mister. I am not PMS'ing, contrary to your masculine brain. I never have PMS and the pills I take only give you a period three times a year and I'm not due for another three months." Her hand slapped over her mouth. "Oh, my God, you have successfully driven me insane!"

Ebook Review: 12/22/2011: LOVE ON THE BOOKSHELF: In Double Occupancy, Chase does well by her characters, giving them room in their close-quartered villa to really express themselves and draw the reader into their love story. Their witty banter will have you laughing but their hot and steamy moments will have you begging for more. By isolating her hero and heroine like this, Chase has given the reader the chance to indulge in a R&R too, focusing on the budding relationship between Travis and Casey. Get lost in this story as though you’re resting up in the villa for yourself… I found it pretty hard to put this one down and climb back into the real world, myself!

The Three R’s:Rating: X for some smokin’ hot lovin’ and some pretty explicit word choices… ahem, Travis.

Recommendation: The perfect vacation getaway when you can’t actually go anywhere! Read this one during a snowstorm to keep warm.

Re-read: Again, Revisit as needed! ( More

Meet the Author

If you like sassy, laugh out loud, contemporary romances - some more explicit than others - you have found the right author!

Reviewers have called them: "cat & mouse" - "slow burn" - "hot and steamy" - "highly addicting" - "solid characters & lots of humor" - "amazing reads!"

I call them fun! My heroines are NOT: thin, petite, clueless or submissive. They are strong women who aren't looking for a man - until the right one comes along!
And those men! Tough-guy, alpha males who don't know what hit them! But do know they want MORE!

I also write erotic mystery/thriller's and the Agatha Christie nominated non-fiction "How to write the Amateur Detective Novel" which is in the FBI Forensic Library at Quantico.

    Captivating & Inspiring!

Wow! What a fantastic story capturing the emotional turmoil, sacrifices, and independence of being a successful business woman in today’s Society.

The female character “Casey” captivated me immediately as the author’s description brought her character to life baring her independence, her struggles with working with the male competition within her own office regardless of how successful her own status was, she received no respect and was still treated unequally. But most importantly, my emotional sympathies totally related to her sacrifices and dedication to her work. Sometimes it is just hard to have a successful job career and have a social life and even though many years may pass as we struggle to maintain the success in our careers, the loneliness eventually catches up with us and one of two things eventually happens. You either have an emotional breakdown ending up in the hospital or you get burned out and eventually get out of the field.

The connection between me the reader and the character Casey was so close to my own reality that I couldn’t put the book down and had it read within a few hours. As I read through the book my inner thoughts kept sneaking in and saying “She totally needs to get laid” – LOL

However sometimes that doesn’t work to well when you have insecurities that keep you from being and doing what you really want to do and not only that, finding the right man to do it with can be challenging as well. Which brings to mind the old saying when you look for love you will not find it – love has its own way of sneaking up on you when you least expect it and that’s what I loved about this story as the authors build up between the characters climaxed.

Travis Craig is a character any woman reader would fall in love with immediately, he is handsome of course and has the body built just right for making love. But his personality is what won me over. He was an experienced man who had chased lust instead of love as he learned from his mistakes with previous women but he had a reality check when he first met Casey. Remember the old saying how Love has its own way of sneaking up on us, well “LOVE” b-ie-t-c-h slapped him at first sight and the connection was electrifying. The author’s description of the scene will have you falling in love and drooling over his determination in confessing his un-denying love for Casey.

The erotic sex scenes are teasing through out the whole story until the end when their love making becomes blitz-fully exciting and hot and so worth waiting for.

I love it when I connect to a book like I did with this one as it brings many happy dreams to me when I sleep. Now that I’ve read this one and Rules of the Game, I will definitely be going to buy the rest of Elaine’s books for she is truly a talented writer who captures real life sceneros and puts them in a fictional story with humor, love, lust, and emotional blitzs of happiness that inspires us to read more Happy Ever After endings.

    Excellent Read!

A must read! Check it out!!

Funny and sunny with great descriptions, very realistic for two people that barely know each other, the author really nails down the romance path of two complicated and opposite people finding a common sense of attraction. This book is very HOT!!! A must read.

This was a fun book. Casey is escaping her life and goes to Mexico to work on her novel. Then Travis shows up. They are instantly attracted to one another, but she has too many insecurities to get involved right away. They become friends, but they find it impossible to stay that way for long. I enjoyed the fun banter, and of course there is lots of steam.

Don't bother. Plot: award winning news journalist whines about being treated like secretary/mother in office. Quits job.  Borrows Mexican vacation home to decompress. Eek! A man!
Woman whines some more. Man wants woman, woman wants man, but won't have sex. Poor me, father hated me, I am no good with men, whine whine, ad nauseum.

Add to that the inconsistent writing style (vacillates from simple language to flipping through thesaurus to find more grown up words), and crappy proof reading (words are not made plural w an apostrophe s), and the whole thing is a waste.
    Not worth the time.

    Liked this book.

Nice to have older characters. Entertaining read. Sexy but without a lot of the details...which I missed. Hate it when writers end the story in the last paragraph. Left me saying...WHAT...???
