About the Author

Kim Sherwood is a novelist and a Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Edinburgh and was shortlisted for the Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award. She is the author of the highly acclaimed Double O trilogy, which includes Double or Nothing, A Spy Like Me, and Hurricane Room, as well as the award-winning novel Testament and A Wild & True Relation.

Sir Bertram Paradise wants to atone for his family’s long history of extractive mining by saving the world. Agent 009, Aazar Siddig Bashir, is assigned to rescue his ex-fiancee 003, Johanna Harwood, from slippery Rattfänger chief Col.
