This is the first L.A. Day I have read.the Cover was hot, synopsis read well. which made me want to purchase the ebook. It was a short story, but that doesn't mean that it gave it allowance to lack so much, like character development& plot.I like the characters however you really didn't know too much about them...he was a vampire, she was his captive and ill, they had hot crazy sex...she knows about him ,there is no "OMG your a what" scene...she been kidnapped by an immortal being..no supprise there...nothing, only that shes turned on by him. Finds out she's still ill, by biting her, tells her he will cure her by turning her, she says when , he does it and thats it.The book went flatline...no real feelings or emotions in the book or between the characters.Surely Ms. Day could have fit a few in.I usuall enjoy a good Elloras Cave novella, just not this one.
