Team coach Heath takes one look at Amber...and wants to make her melt under his touch. Groupies aren't usually his style...but this sexily distracting woman is different. She should be...because she's not exactly a groupie!

It's a hot, fast fling with incredible sex! Only it's soon coming to an end. Because temporary sex, even the earth-shaking variety, never leads to a home run. Unless these two players can let down their guards in time to let them both win this game....

    Nice!

    ## I loved almost all of this book. The heroine was so honest it was refreshing. The hero was supremely hot which is always a plus. And I'm a tremendous baseball fan so I loved that part of the book as well. SPOILER ALERT: When the hero breaks things off with the heroine, I actually felt an ache in my chest. That's a huge testiment to the author for such incredible writing. The part I didn't like (hence 4 stars instead of 5) was the ending. The final conversation was unclear and the ending abrupt.

    Play ball

Double Play by Joanne Rock is another sensational story set in the world of baseball.

Amber Nichols is so ready to break out of her safe controlled life. On a vacation she decides the hot baseball player in the condo next store is just the ticket. Amber believes a one night stand will help her come out of her shell. But Amber is under the wrong assumption about the baller next store.

Boston Aces Manager Heath Donovan is told to take a few days off and cool down after a confrontation at the ball field. A few days at the beach should help him but the sexy woman next store is setting other things on fire. His one night stand with Amber has him believing that she is just another groupie.

But Amber has more then just one night on her mind and convinces Heath that she is genuinely not a team follower. Spending time together makes Heath realize what he is missing in his world. Sure the sex is exceptional for them both but it's the friendship that really rocks both their worlds.

Double Play is a perfect book to read for those that love the game and the sexy men that play the sport. The women that love them are exceptional as well. Amber and Heath's story will make you want to find your own baseball player to call your won.

    a heated sports romance

Shy book reviewer Amber Nichols is spending her vacation at a friend's beach house on Nantucket. Upon seeing the hunk next door, although clearly out of character for her, she vows to go for a one-night stand with the jock, Boston baseball coach Heath Donovan.

The coach knows he will be held responsible by management for the team's slump. To take his mind off his fears of being fired, he thinks a one night stand with the beautiful groupie next door is just the thing. However, as one night becomes several nights, each wonders when and how their game will end.

The latest Wrong Bed tale is a heated sports romance that contains two charming pitchers throwing complete games as their lust turns into love. The enjoyable story line is hotter than a summer on the Cape while the lead couple makes for a fine time away from the ball park. Baseball fans will wonder whether Heath and Amber will hit into a Double Play or grand slam walk-off home run.
