Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly
Cunning’s third Sinners on Tour erotic ménage romance about heavy metal musicians (after Rock Hard) turns to bisexual guitarist Trey Mills. Sinners frontman Brian and his wife, Myrna (who paired up in Backstage Pass), just had their first child, making Trey realize he has to put out the decade-long torch he’s held for Brian. Then vivacious, talented female rocker Reagan Elliot enters Trey’s life as the new rhythm guitarist for Trey’s brother’s band. As the attraction heats up between them, Trey is also drawn to Ethan, Reagan’s roommate and ex-boyfriend, who finds Trey just as hot. The three struggle with their feelings, Trey debates coming out to Reagan, and Brian’s family obligations threaten to tear the band apart. Snappy dialogue, dizzying romance, scorching hot sex, and realistic observations about life on tour make this a winner, though some readers may balk at the conflation of bisexuality with needing both male and female partners to be “fulfilled.” Agent: Jennifer Schober, Spencerhill Associates. When it comes to sex, love and rock n' roll with sizzling bad-bo

When it comes to sex, love and rock n' roll with sizzling bad-boy rock-stars that you'll never forget, no one tops Olivia Cunning's Sinners!

Sinners rhythm guitarist, Trey Mills, is a whole bunch of mixed up. In love with his best friend and fellow Sinners guitarist, Brian Sinclair, Trey is about to go nuts with all the feelings he has bottled up inside for him. But Brian is newly married and expecting his first child, he loves Trey but can never be what Trey wants. When Trey hears Reagan Elliot auditioning for his brother's band, he thinks that it is someone ripping off Brian's music at first. When Trey comes face-to-face with imposter though he finds a talented hot rock starlet instead and falls hard and fast, determined to squash his bisexual feelings and be a one-woman man for her. But when he meets Reagan's sexy bisexual roommate, best friend and ex-boyfriend, Ethan Conner, all of Trey's good intentions are shot to hell. After sorting through some of her own insecurities though, Reagan agrees to make her and Trey's twosome a threesome, allowing Trey to be himself. But not everyone is happy with their new arrangement...

I cannot articulate how much I love Trey. Cute, funny, loving, sexy as all get-out...he'll definitely make you tingle in all the right places. His emotional struggle of trying to be someone he isn't for a person he cares for deeply tugged at my heart strings and I loved how even with Reagan's own insecurities and past issues, she was able to accept him how he is. They both have big hearts and when you throw Ethan into the mix their relationship hit a whole new level that really worked. Scorching hot and deeply emotional, I couldn't get enough. The story moved at a great pace and the whole Sinner's family dug themselves dipper into my heart. I am a little upset though with Brian's reaction to Trey, even if he thought it was better for Trey in the long run. The Brian we met in Backstage Pass is not the Brian I am seeing in the continuation of the series and it saddens me. I don't like it one bit.

Okay, and now on to my rant. I am really perturbed, even though I was expecting it, that the publisher released this book out of order. Why? I mean, yes, I love Trey, I couldn't wait to read his book, but I can't wait to read Jace or Eric's book either, or hell, even Dare's book! But that doesn't mean I'm so impatient (and yes, this is coming from me of little patience) that I want to read the books out of order. Double Time is book five in the series and reads as such, therefore, Jace and Eric's stories have already happened so we get glimpses and slight spoilers of their HEA, a little spoiler about two people involved with Sinners and more. So. Frustrating. So unnecessary too and it did take away a little bit from the enjoyment of the story in general. Grrr...

But all that aside, Trey's story itself blew me away, the ménage aspect of the book was written expertly, the romance and relationships felt real and a little bit of suspense thrown had me turning the pages even faster. Double Time was a fun, exciting and incredibly hot read that I recommend to all erotic romance fans, hell, the whole series is a must-read and my favorite erotic romance series - EVVA. Period. I had a smile on my face with the last page. :)

This is a very hawt book!! It kept me interested from start to finish. It felt very appropriately timed, great characters, and an interesting storyline (Reagan becoming Dare's new rhythmic guitarist and going on two whirlwind tours). Plus, lots of very steamy sex. Whew. LOTS.

My only complaint is that this story seems to rely on sex to coax it along. Again, good sex scenes, but there were just a lot of them. Perhaps many more than was necessary...but if that's the reason you're looking into this book in the first place? Have at it!

For some, too much smut isn't a bad thing.

    Wow I wasn't expecting that!

I don't want to give out spoilers, but let me just say the sex scenes are not for the faint of heart. They are brutally hot. I am oh so straight, but the scenes between Trey and Ethan were smokin' I am so jealous of Reagan. lol. I thought the author did a fabulous job of telling Treys story I didn't want it to end.

I didn't realize this was actually book 5 (note B&N has it wrong).  Loved the book even if it was confusing at first.  Reading about relationships with two other band members that haven't actually happened yet was weird, but aside from that, the book rocks.  If you haven't read this yet, read Hot Ticket first.

This was the first book that I’ve read by Olivia Cunning and it definitely won’t be the last. I was very happy to learn that this books stands all by itself, although the couples from the prior two books do make appearances, having read their stories isn’t a must. And I’ve always been a little curious about the rock star lifestyle, so when this book crossed my path, I knew I needed to read it. From page one, the reader is thrown into the erotic world of rock ‘n’ roll and I for one was thrilled to go on this ride.

Trey Mills is quite the character. He’s one of the guitarists from The Sinners. He’s bisexual and has it bad for his best friend and band mate. But said band mate, Brian, is married and a new father and Trey decides that he needs to let go. So, he swears off men and then he meets Reagan (a girl, by the way) and they become inseparable and a whirlwind courtship begins. But Trey has sexual needs that Reagan can’t fulfill and Trey tries his best not to stray. Enter Ethan, Reagan’s ex, who is also bisexual… and oh boy, what was a erotic book up to that point, well, it bursts into flames.

I really enjoyed the sweetness, even though the sex was hot, romance between Reagan and Trey. Both of them have had disappointing love lives in their past, but are drawn to each other. But Reagan doesn’t know about Trey’s previous lifestyle and throughout much of the book, he’s hiding his urges and tempering his wilder cravings. Reagan on the other hand is trying to adjust to being the new guitarist in Exodus End (Trey’s brother’s band) and the limelight that it brings… on top of being Trey’s girlfriend. Watching these two get past all their issues and actually blossom was fun… and when they brought Ethan in, well, pass me a daiquiri and fan.

Once I got reading, I didn’t want to stop. Yes, I think the book would have been enhanced by having read the prior books. But, I was able to keep up and really didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything but a little backstory regarding Trey’s band mates. However, all I needed to know was given to me in this story and I was more than pleased with the result. And I think the only thing that really drug the story down was Trey’s well, obsession with Brian. I was tired of it relatively quickly and wanted it resolved sooner rather than later. But that was really more a minor irritation and didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of the story.

Fair warning there is m/m action from the first page. So, if that’s not your thing, I wouldn’t suggest this book.

    WTH???

Incredibly annoyed that I just paid 7 bucks for a book that is out of reading order!! Why on earth would the publisher release the last book third? Now I have to wait until September when the final book is released to read Trey's story or risk ruining the other books for myself. Very disappointed, will purchase the rest of series as it is released because I am eager to know what happens with everyone, but will think twice before ordering this authors works again....VERY dissatisfied!

A little upset that the stories were released out of order, but as Trey has always been my favorite, I'm not actually complaining.  I love Treys inner dialogue, love him heartbreak and his charm, he may be one of the most appealing characters of all time. This story hurt me as I hurt for him. I loved Reagan, too! Honestly, I was having a harder time feeling Ethan, but maybe that's just me. Again, the author shows how the characters need one another and how they lean on each other for support or in some cases guard themselves and I love that because it's realistic. The sex scenes in this are....I'm not even sure what word to use, what's hotter than the hottest thing? Well, whatever that is, it's this. I admit, I was not used to the whole guy, guy, girl thing, but I adjusted. Quickly. Can't wait for Jace's story and Eric's...Come on February 5th.

I love the Sinners on Tour series, so I quickly got this as soon

I love the Sinners on Tour series, so I quickly got this as soon as I saw it. Much to my amazement this book was published out of order, it is clearly not book 3 in the series, more likely book 5. While that took a little bit of getting used to, it didn't affect the actual story.

Reagan Elliot has a dead end job as a barista at a crappy coffee house. An old bandmate convinces Reagan to enter a contest where the winner gets to be the new rhythm guitarist for Exodus End. Little did she expect to win after only playing guitar for 3 years. Reagan meets Trey at the audition and I could instantly see the sparks fly.

Dare, Trey's brother and Reagan's band mate tells Reagan to tour with Sinners to become accustomed to the rock star life. She is unsettled, but learns quickly what is expected. After finding a threatening note she brings Ethan, an ex-boyfriend into her new life to be her bodyguard. Thing quickly heat up between Reagan and Trey, but Trey has a passion that Reagan just can't fulfill by herself. Reagan makes the decision to include Ethan into her relationship with Trey and oh my goodness it gets scorching hot from there. I've never really been into menage books before, but Olivia Cunning makes it hard to resist. It you haven't read the Sinners on Tour series I highly suggest it, start with Backstage Pass and be prepared for a series with drool worthy rock stars.

    Just ok

    ## Just ok for me. I love menage stories especially when the men are intimate as well, so that part of the story I really liked. The rest not so much. I hate stories with man-sluts and there is just no other way to describe Trey. He has sex every night, with different people. He's hopelessly in love with his bandmate, dreams about him, does a complete stranger up against a wall in a closet, has sex later that night with another woman, lusts after her roommate and can barely resist a guy he finds in his dressing room after his show by locking himself in the bathroom, etc etc....he wanted everyone. I just couldn't respect him. This was my first book in the series. I thougt I'd go back and read Brian's story but now I know I wont. Too much promiscuity.
