Lovelorn forest is a forest of ancient wood. Ents use to roam and care for it, but they have become lost, though some say they still exist. The forest itself is a collection of dense hardwoods with a few coniferous trees. The undergrowth is thick and tangled, and it is easy to become lost in it. In the higher boughs, however, life appears to thrive. It holds a spectacular array of creatures, ordinary and fantasical. It hides many dangers, as well. Many times a bold traveler has enter but never exited. Elves can sometimes be seen speaking to the trees, as well as the ever-ellusive nymphs, nixies, and pixies, who reside in the shadowy forest. Dragons find the woods as excellent hunting territory, though their skeletons have been found scattered on the dark floor, too.
