We especially like how Welsh gives us guidance for every month . . . .
Dave's Garden website
Doug Welsh is an asset to gardeners all over Texas with his friendly and helpful radio show, and his contributions to the Master Gardener program. This book is a treasure trove of information about gardening in Texas. It's organized like a calendar of sorts where each section covers a month. He gives timely tips for each month and has lots of fun stories and little pieces of information to help you learn more about Texas gardening while you enjoy the book. The illustrations are beautiful and the book is huge (almost 500 pages). This is a definite 'must have' for all Texas gardeners.

"None of the other state gardening books can match this title for Texas."-Bee Culture
