Meg Barnes an actress of 'a certain age,' married a con man and lost everything. The FBI thinks Meg was involved in her husband's scam and FBI Agent Jack Mitchell investigates Meg. Meanwhile, Meg sleeps in her car, in neighbor's cars, and showers at the gym, until she meets Donna. This fan-turned-friend takes Meg into her home, allowing Meg to do some investigating into her missing husband's affairs. This was a great read featuring a desperate woman trying to make her world right again. The subtle humor, and picture-painting descriptions were a joy to read. I hope there is another story to find out what happens with Meg and Jack's relationship, and what eccentric Donna is up to. Nicely done, Ms. Scott, nicely done.
