First of all, the author's style was like nails on a chalkboard. I had to literally grit my teeth to get through this. And, secondly, the main character was a whiny self-centered pain in the butt. I wanted to slap Cora into the next millennium. She was so annoying that I had to question why any self-respecting dragon would have anything to do with her. I thought the storyline was interesting and stuck in there thinking that surely she would grow up and stop being so wrapped up in herself. When she was asked to help control the dragons and she said yes, I thought it was the turning point. She was going to put on her big girl panties and stop sniveling. Wrong! The first chance she gets, she runs away and leaves the mess SHE CREATED for someone else to clean up. Wait--is this really the character that is carrying the series?
Okay--she was detestable but I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and I read the sample of the next book. I thought maybe--just maybe--Cora would remove her firmly entrenched head from her anal cavity and take care of her responsibilities. Hell to the no! Same whine--just a year later. All she did was yip about not being the dragon lord so it's not her responsibility. Reminds me of that song--it wasn't me. Look, I can understand a crisis of faith--but even after something cataclysmic happens to her and she summons dragons, she's still in denial. The promo made this sound like a fun story to read but I am disappointed and unless the dragons eviscerate her in the next book I am through with this series. Sigh can't anyone write a female character with honor and integrity?

Not My favorite, I will not be reading on. To much information, not enough back ground. It was just too plan confusing to keep me interested.

Just this read. Must read. Loved the raw enegry and would recommend but too short. Just as I starting to enjoy it, it ends. Just too short.

Disappointed to find that this book ends abruptly, (as so many reviewers have said) I went to look for the next book; only to find that the author's name's changed and she has great reviews.
This book is really confusing with fragmented thought processes and episodes. It leaves you wondering what really happened ???? If the explanations are to come in future books , its not really a reason to buy or read this book.
Even if this book was a stand alone book it is not worth buying 'cuz it does not have any kind ofcontinuous thought process.
Read it if you want to waste your time.

Quick read. Very choppy. A LOT of missing information.
I pretty much had no idea what was going on throughout the book... I mean there was enough info to get me by and to be able to follow along with the storyline, but I guess I'm just not familiar with a lot of the dragon-paranormal topic/terminology.
The concept was very interesting to me and I kept reading so I could find out what happened with Cora and the two dragonlords/dragons. I actually would consider buying at least the second one, if not going straight for the bundle pack to get a better deal. I just wish this book had more character development and elaborated topics; I don't like having to ask why and how throughout a book and never receiving any answers.

Good read and good story, but the story pulls you in and then just ends..you think it has an end, but from one chapter to the next it ....ends. You have to wait for the next book to see what happens. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

I feel that the story and plot line were good but the author didnt deliver. It jumped randomly everywhere and i didnt know what was going on almost the whole time. The main character Cora wasnt good and complained alot. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Only get 1 star only because I cant give it a -1000000000009 stars. This is by far the worst POS book out there.
Cora is just stupid and a whiny kid. I find this book so boring that I found myself passed out repeatedly....... Good
thing this book is for free..... because I wouldn't pay for any of books in this series. After reading the first 30 pages....
I find myself debating on buying bleach to wash my eye balls and brain out with. There is no plot line what so ever, the story
jumps all over the place and any moron who sits here and claim this is a "good read" need to go slap themselves for lying.
