I would definitely not advise anyone to purchase this book, not unless you're a hardcore fan of the series. The beginning is too slow and the monsters are not well described. Once you're through the first half, it finally gets interesting and the author saves the best for the end.

The Knights of the Crown was the first book I have ever read in the TRS line. This is a wonderful story of a man who is unsure about his life. It is a really enjoyable tales as the hero and main character is not the "perfect" person. I love that fact that he is able to overcome all of his short coming. If I talk anymore I would give away the plot, but if you are looking for a good tale, this may be the book for you. I hope you can enjoy this book as much as I have.

I have been a fan of the Dragonlance books for years and have mainly followed the adventures of the Heroes of the Lance and the Fifth Age. I picked up this book to tide me over until Dragons of a New Star is released and I am glad I did. The story of Privan going from theif to knight of solomnia was amazing. I lost myself in the character and found that I could not put the book down. I will tell you that the knights do not appear until the end but what an adventure it is before they get involved in the book. The book also has amazing battles with minotaurs, wizards, storms, and evil dragons!. I highly recommend this book to anyone. It is a quick read and very enjoyable. I can't wait to read the sequels.
