    repetitive....

Overall a good book, again alot of grammatical errors and repetition. I am starting to get tired of Mina, kind of the way I got tired of Raistlin in the other books, how weak he was, always coughing and being pathetic. Mina's character is starting to bore me. A little bit of overkill. You can also tell when Tracy and Margaret find a new word like 'askance', because they use it 4 to 5 times in a span of 2 pages. It is like, if they don't keep repeating it, they might forget it. With that said it is a good read, you keep wanting to read to find out what happens next. The ending was a little predictable but I want to read 'Dragons of a Vanished Moon' quickly to see what transpires next.

War of the Souls is very capturing!

At first, Dragons of the Fallen Sun didn't interest me much. Then, I read further on, and I couldn't put the book down. I don't really like Mina, she seems evil to me. I haven't read the second book yet, but I hope it answers some of the questions that I have from the first book. I like Tasslehoff and I hope he doesn't die. This series is awesome!

    good book

this might sound a little fruity, but i like happy endings, especially when they include lots of burning romance, so much for that... hahaha.

    Outstanding, simply outstanding

Simply outstanding. I had my guess as to who was behind Mina's godly powers and I was right in the end. But the book had really come touching moments. Laurana's death was extremely sad and Silvanoshei selfishness made you want to spank him to his senses. That's how involve you get in the characters. The only moment I felt the book dragged a bit was when Gerald was first captured and thought as a Dark Knight. Felt like it lead nowhere because in the end you know the Solamnic knights were going to know the truth anyway. Why not have some older knight recognize him immediately to quicken the plot?. Oh well, overall still a sweet book. Can't wait for book 3 to come out (softcover that is). Well done.

    Dragons of a Lost Star

Ohhhh, the 2nd book¿. Excellent! I said in my review for the first book that I couldn¿t pry my fingers off the book, well the same holds true for the 2nd. I just wanted to cuddle with the book every night even after I had finished it. It even out does Fallen Sun. The characters come alive to an unreal extent. The plot twists are extraordinary and almost unpredictable. Many of them were for me. I¿m going to keep this review short and juts ask a few questions¿ What will happen to Gerard? Lady Odila? Where is Dalamar? Palin and Tas? What will happen when Mina and Targonne meet? What is Beryl going to do with what¿s going on in Qualinost? The puppet king? The Lioness? The Golden General and Marshal Medan? Silvanoshei, spoiled brat or magic induced lover? Will the Silvanesti shield fall? Death Dragons? Galdar? Alhana and Samar? Mina¿.? The One God¿..? I give this novel 5 orbs only because I can¿t give it more. Phenominal!

This books was worth the price, but not worth the legacy...

I have been reading works from these authors for the past eighteen years and have enjoyed every title that I have seen. However, with this particular series, I think that they are trying desperately to catch the magic that they created with the original trilogy. The characters in these books (with the exception of the minotaur) are loose copies of the original set of heroes. The Character of Mina started off very strong and toward the end of this second novel lost her strength as an original character and began so seem a lot like just another cleric. Tass, (one of my all time favorite characters by the way) alone cannot save this lack luster offering. I would strongly encourage anyone to read these authors. However, this particular book is not one that I would put to a new reader as being their strongest work. I am looking forward to the final chapter in this trilogy to see if they will be honest with their readers and bring back the strong traits of their characters that we have all come to love so much.

    Dragonlance is nifty!

This novel was so awesome. I read this one before i read the first one but it didn't matter because reading the first one just made the second even more enjoyable. I can't wait for the final in this trilogy. I love Dragonlance!!! If you'd like authors and such for the books i like just email me...

    What is going on?

I read the book a couple of times and I did not comprehend if Mina's God was evil or good. I was confusing and yet interesting to read. I hope I understand more when the next part comes out.

    Just Plain amazing

This was just a great book..I can't say much else. Weis and Hickman do another great job. This triology(or the first 2 at least) have been the most interesting dragonlance i've read. It did such a great job of luring you in and never letting you stop reading. I just couldnt put it down. The whole book was full of surprising..and left me wanting more. Now the long wait till the final book begins

    A brillant work

I grew up on the chronicles by Margret Weiss and Tracy Hickman. And honestly, view them as the 'true' core of what dragonlance is. The War of Souls books I see as but an extension of the original chronicles. This book is incredible. It is rare I find myself mistaken at the end. I had purchased both this book and the War of Souls volume one and read them straight through. If you want an excellent fantasy novel, this is it. The climax is something not to miss.

    Can't miss this book

True to form, Weis and Hickman spin a throughly enjoyable and intriguing tale. Full of adventure and mystery. This is the second book in the War of Souls trilogy. It clears up a few myteries and adds a few more. It promises a great conclusion in book 3. Anyone who has read Weis and Hickman before know that they are the masters of fantasic fiction. This book is no exception. A must read for fans of Dragonlance and Fantasy in general.

    non-stop- adventure-packed book

Dragons of a Lost Star is the best book i've read so far. It explains a lot in the War of the Souls trilogy. All the events were outstanding. I couldn't put the book down. The next volume of the War of the Souls comes out next year. I wanted to wait and read the book a month before the new one came out. I ended up reading in a week. I am sure to read it a couple more times before the new one comes out.

Wow You will FLY through this book

This book was almost harder to enjoy the previous War of Souls book, (dragons of a fallen sun), mostly because I read through this incredibly fast. As soon as I finished it though (And *GASP* what an ending it was) I started over to enjoy it again.
