Aside from DL's Chronicles & Legends, I rate this book as one of the next best... An action book using a romance undertone with a predictable plot, but nonetheless worthwhile.

This has to be one of the most best Dragonlance books I have ever read. Tanis meets a legend in his past, I am not going to say who. He also fights a very important person in a mage's past. Overall this is a very good book.

Dragonlance: Tanis the Shadow Years is THE book for all fantasy lovers, like me! It is so full of action that you'll want to keep on reading, because you won't be able to wait until later to find out what happens next. Hats off to the autors and editors. You made a fan out of me! I recommend this book to everyone!

This was a good book but it had one major flaw. This was not the same Tanis that we met in the Chronicles. Still, it is worth the read.
