Overview

Deirdre MacKenzie is the leader of Baltimore's Sorcerers and a Special Agent for the Bureau of Paranatural Investigations. She works with her Baltimore Police Department detective partner Joseph Lupelli and their Cold Cases Team trying to solve paranatural homicides. The last thing Deirdre expects on a night out on the town is to end up magically bound to the Vampire Spymaster of the City, Deacon. Deirdre and Deacon also have to face the rising tide of paranatural crime in their City.

The Malunos, the allied enemy supernaturals, may be about to try and take Baltimore for themselves. When a hit is put out on Deirdre, the Vampires' Warleader Vincent begins to suspect all is not right with the local supernatural leaders, especially his own. Deirdre's world is turned upside down by the discovery that she's carrying the daughter of Vincent's Patron God, Thor. Magic is running wild in the City and as every Sorcerer knows, playing with the Dragon's Fire can be extremely dangerous.

Meet the Author

Katherine Fisher Clarke is the crazy cat lady, crafter and writer your mother never managed to warn you about. She finds time to bake a mean lasagna and wicked chocolate cakes in between knitting for friends and for charity. When not coming up with wild characters or strange stories, she lives in her suburban Maryland home with her two lifemates, her two kids, four cats, a parakeet and a small horde of friends who visit on the weekends.

Kat has been writing as a pastime for thirty years. She is a proud member of the Maryland Writer's Association and the Romance Writers of America's Maryland Chapter. Dragon's Fire is her first book. There are more stories coming down the pike in the universe, exploring both her universe's past and future.

She hopes you enjoy these stories as much as she enjoys crafting them!
