Overview

First in the Shadow of the Dragon series
Lorran has studied dragons for years, hoping to find a way for the wild creatures and humans to live in peace. She knows better than most the devastation caused by a dragon bite. And when Kei the Dragonslayer appears on her doorstep, torn and bleeding, she knows he has only weeks to live.

Kei has been a dragon slayer all his life, but when he becomes the victim of a dragon bite, he turns to Lorran, the only woman who might be able to save him from sure death. As the dragon venom flows through his body, the desire and need for Lorran's touch fill his every thought. Though he doesn't understand it, he knows - Lorran belongs to him.

As his desires grow stronger and wilder than ever before, it seems only Lorran can ease the powerful sexual urges created by the dragon's kiss.

All of st clare's dragon books are excellent. Well worth the money and space on your bookshelf or nook. You will come back to them time and again. They are THAT hot. Lead characters are sexy, and honorable. Book 2 is the shortest of the lot, but they are all worth the read. I saw on her site she has planned a dragon book five...but that was months ago. Geez, how long does it take a dragon to fly to the editor and become available?
Mine? Need Mine Now! (Just read the first book and you'll understand:)

    Sex Sex Sex

This could be an interesting story if it would not contain such an excessive amount of vulgarity. The erotic scenes become stifling when repeated again and again. Although the authur shows great imagination, I am reluctant to order any other books by this author. This copy will be eliminated from my nook based on the overabundance of vulgarity.

Omg, only a ten plus star would do this book justice, it was that good. Okay, maybe good is too tame for it. How 'bout AWESOME.

From the opening sentence to the final salvo it is a guaranteed SIZZLER.

I'm not usually a fan of non-stop squirming...but this gave me such a journey and I didn't shut off my e-reader and walk away. That alone should tell you how GOOD this book is and how well written it is.

The story holds you firmly in its grip and will NOT let you go.

Tielle St. Clare has pure dynamite coming out of her keyboard and she knows how to share it with her readers.

Therefore I cannot NOT give Dragon's Kiss less than FIVE SCREAMINGLY Blazing STARS.

If you have NOT latched onto this author's writing forays yet, you have GOT to get in gear and get busy.

    Well Done Ms. St. Clare!

    I love this book.
Quite simply, I'm in love with it.
It has leapt up my *long* ladder of Books Already Read and plopped into the pool of my top 10 favorite books of all time.

I can't get enough. I bought the ebook, and will now definitely be buying the physical copy.

I love the characters, the premise, the world, the steam (ahem), the marvelously surprising ending...everything. I'd love to recommend this to you, but I haven't got the time; I'm going back to re-read it now.

A feirce, silver-grey tom pads in. He has icy blue eyes and long black claws. "Hi. I'm Wolfheart. I'm a wolf shapeshifter, and I'm protective of my loved ones. I'm currently looking for a mate."

    Broken Shadows

    Broken Shadows

    Prolouge:
A young tigress paused on the edge of a dark forest, her dark green eyes filled with pain and sadness. To the North stood a tall, towering mountain peak, pale gray before the slim half moon. To the South stood the forest she had known since she was a day-old cub.
The tigrees turned her sad gaze towards the star-streaked sky, and whispered, "What am I going to do?"
Her fur was a dark purple color, very unsual for her species, striped with the darkest of black. Her build was lithe, but muscular from long days of training. She sighed, tearing her gaze from the night sky to stare at her paws.
"Indigo?" a voice hissed, and the dark purple tigress turned around to see two others emerge from the forest to stand beside her.
"What are you doing here?" Indigo hissed, anger andvsuprise flashing in her green eyes.
One of the two flinched at her words, and stepped into the moonlight to reveal herself. She was also a tigress, small and light of build with pale pink fur, pale gray stripes, and sky blue eyes.
"You know why we're here, Indigo," the third said gruffly, following the pink tigress into the moonlight. He was tall, muscular, but somehow rather frail. His pale orange fur was laced with silver stripes, and his amber eyes seemed distant and pale.
"Fergo," Indigo said, dipping her head in respect to the pale orange tiger. "I had not expected you to be here." She spoke shortly, as though forcing her words.
"Radiant Sun has told me of her suspicions for a while now," Fergo growled, not unkindly. "Is it true?"
Indigo hung her head, and didn't speak.
"Indigo Moon, I MUST have an answer," Fergo pressed.
"Indigo, please," Radiant Sun pleaded, her icy blue eyes filled with sadness. "We need to know."
Indigo Moon looked at her sister, and, after a long while, whispered, "Yes. It is true."
"So you go now, to the Dragons, and leave your Tribe behind?" Fergo questioned after a while.
The dark purple tigress didn't meet his amber gaze. "I love him, Fergo. I MUST go. You wouldn't understand, all you've cared about is healing. But then, you're the Healer. You're important to the Tribe. I'm just another Huntress, and there's plenty more. Sunny, for example."
Radiant Sun sighed, then meowed, "I'm going with you, Indigo. You're my sister."
Indigo Moon looked up in suprise. "But... you don't know anyone there. You'd be lost."
"You can't stop me. I'd die if I didn't know what happened," the pink Huntress said.
"Sunny, I'd be glad of your company..." Indigo purred, but then stopped when she turned to Fergo. "You won't... tell anyone, will you?"
For the first time, the Healer smiled. "Your secret is safe with me. Go now, and have a safe journey."
"Thank you," Indigo meowed, then turned and headed for the looming mountain, Sunny following.
With a sigh, Fergo turned and left.

((NOTE: Sorry this is kinda short... I have to go in a bit, so yah. Anyways, tell me if ya like it or not. Thanks!! ;) ))
