Meet the Author

NOTICE TO FANS: a few unpopular stories in the TSODR series are being unpublished

I am an African American poetess trying to open up a new avenue in the world of Dragons: Space Dragons!! And I WILL make it "work." My stories are mostly flash fiction, short stories and (best of all) poetry. I'd love to one day have my own panel at Comic Con where I can do book signings and talk about my book. An author can dream a reality!

About The Society On Da Run: Adventures with Dragons:

Earth has seen many visitors, from space dragons colonizing the planet in Pre Cambrian times to intelligent insectoids and benevolent owl gods. Follow the adventures of a wide cast of characters as they encounter the dragons of the Draconizica empire, and Ashuton Karrucci, the god of dragons going about his daily life in Italy. From a story about a small town ravaged by an airborn dragon virus, to a story about a cruel dragon king on a terraformed Mars, to the story of a girl pregnant with a Dragon god, these stories are not bound by the norms of the Fantasy and Science Fiction genres. Also includes stories unrelated to the dragons.

    ...

"Kruen!" barked a harsh voice. In the blackness of the place, only red eyes are seen as the one called Kruen replies,"Yes, Lord Kazuen?" The harsh voice of Kazuen says,"I need you. Afreet is resisting me. I don't need to constantly be inside your head. Go to Blizzard Pack and observe Afreet. If she does anything too suspicious, take her heart along with Fang's and Sugar's." Kruen's eyes lower as he bows. "As you wish, Lord Kazuen." Then the two spots of red are gone. Kazuen steps into the light, revealing his burly wolf form. His dark gray fur bristles and looks like it could use a wash. The yellow pupils of his red eyes are narrowed into slits. He watches the receding form of the muscular Kruen with his ever-displeased expression. His pack of demon wolves was getting smaller and smaller. That was why they learned to possess other dogs, insert their own conciousness into their hosts' minds. It was easiest with young dogs, and they'd always preferred fighters. A resisting host was not a new thing, though it also wasn't typical. They'd learned to deal with it. Kazuen grinned to himself. He'd never had a resisting host, but he knew he could easily put Afreet back in her place. All he needed was time...
