Overview

A dragon slayer vows to never kill again. He resists the mayor's blandishments but cannot resist the mayor's daughter. He marries and tries to make a go of settled life. He fails and in breaking his vow, he incurs the anger of the gods. A haunting tragic tale told as a narrative poem.
