Amazingly interesting... This is a book that you will not want to put down till it is finished. It captures the readers attention and absorbs the reader in its pages. You'd escape the reality and become part of Kenyon's supernatural and extremely romantic reality.

I've read more recent offerings in Sherrilyn Kenyon's delightful Dark-Hunters series, but I recently stumbled across this earlier segment, a novella previously published as part of a collection. This one starts off seemingly like any other paranormal romance: quiet, mousy girl meets exotic, darkly sexy guy and they hit off great -- but then at the end of the first chapter, it kicks into high gear, and we find the darkly sexy guy is a shape-shifting, time-traveling dragon prince in search of an artifact she has been studying, not knowing it is a vital treasure he needs to save a loved one. It's a good, quick read, maybe even a little too quick: the snappy dialogue is a blast and the world just begs to be developed a little more, which leaves you with an 'Aww, ending so soon?' feeling as you turn the last few pages, but it still leaves you satisfied. I love the pamphlet size of this book: reminds me of the old-style serialized novels from the early days of popular fiction.

Love all Sherrilyn's books!!! This is a first in her Dark-Hunter's series and shows a rare view of the world and a type of character rarely seen in her stories. Great intro to a very exciting and action filled book. All her books are filled with romance and great sex scenes that are not too over the top. I recommend as a good intro book to her world for anyone that is into romance/fantasy/action/mythical genre!!

This was a great quick read. The only disappointment was that this wasn't a full length book~

All show and no go, Ms. Kenyon is obviously going for the cash reward. Soft-core porn with a minimal story line. Had a lot of promise but a 68 page letdown. Leaves more questions than answers. no comparison to earlier dark hunter items.

sexually explisit. Not something I personally enjoyed reading. The overview was very misleading. Disapointed that it was so highly rated.

A wonderful part of the Sherilynn Kenyon Dark Hunter series, not much mention of the "dragon weres" in the other books. This writer has woven a wonderful world.

I was a bit sceptical about this book because I read the review about how short it was but when I read the book, it didn't feel short at all and I was satisfied by the end. I am a big fan of the dark-hunter series, and this book gave me more insight about the beginnings. Wish I would've read this eariler. And after reading this, I can't wait for the next book of Sherrilyn's!

This is a short story or novella but... it is completely on par with her other WereHunter books. Many have said it is too short on their reviews but they are completely wrong. It is complete. Yes, short but complete. In fact the whole back story of the King Lycaon is explained so anyone should understand the basics into this world. Whenever I want to start reading all her books I start with Dragonswan again before all the others. I love Sebastian and Channon. They cover the history aspect completely.
