This song is amazing, it really makes me wanna get up and dance. I first heard it in Spain so it brings back great memories of my trip there. You gotta check it out, the beats are funky and the lyrics are catchy.
Not a clue what the words mean, but I heard it everywhere while I was in Hungary this summer, and couldn't wait to hear it again once I got home. Why don't we hear really fun tunes like this in America? Do we need more Christina, Britney and Avril when there's Haiducii (who is, by the way, just about as hot as they come)?
This Song is so frickin' awesome. I heard it on a site and have been atticted ever since. On top of being a really great song Haiducii has an amazing voice and body. She is so awesome. I've seen to versions of the lyrics translated into English and Vrei sa pleci means you want to go and nu ma nu ma iei means but i wont, i wont go with you. I've also seen it as you wanta leave but you won't take me with you. Both ways this song is so awesome!
This is such an awesome song!! a friend had it on a cd and we played it in the locker room! i am now addicted! it is soo great and a really good dance song!! definitely reccomended. i am buying the cd!
This track has been really huge in Europe lately, but I think the cover by another Romanian group (O-Zone) was the one that caught on and went platinum in every country. The woman's name, by the way, is Paula Mitrachi; she records as "Haiducii" which means (literally) Outlaw. And she is pretty fine.
sigh. i was listening to this track/song on the way through slovakia and germany, and i heard it everywhere. it is a great song, that does not lose your interest after only eight playings. i liked it a lot.
ohh my god this song is soooooo cool i first heard it in a latin radio station and i got addicted i looked and looked until i found the cd its soo cool we should have this kind of songs in the u.s oh well but i really recommend it you guys should listen to it
Dragostea din tei is just one of the cool songs that Haiducii has recorded. If you like this one then may I suggest that you check her site (just goggle for Haiducii. Her latest song "More and More" is even better than her others. I first heard her in Italy and have been listening to her ever since. She is a wonderful Romanian vocalist and writer. I wish that we had more artists like her here. If you enjoy a great voice, catching incorporation of instruments and music with a message than listen to Haiducii.....btw...the translation of Haiducii is a "female Robin Hood" of sorts. :) Also...if you like her music check out more of what Romania has to offer.
