Basically a completed picture is shown, then it is shown in steps of progression, which a young artist can imitate on his own sketch pad. The progression starts with just a few lines on the page; then the next picture shows added lines; then the next with shading, etc...until the drawing is complete. Great for kids who aren't into reading, and just want a lot of practice with drawing. I'd say this book is good for any kid, (or adult) who has the motivation to draw, and just wants to gain experience/skill through practice.
