Overview

From Dracula and Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Twilight and The Vampire Diaries to Hellsing and Vampire Knight, the undead never get old and in this book, bestselling author Christopher Hart gives horror fans and aspiring artists something they can really sink their teeth into: step-by-step instruction in drawing their favorite creatures of the night. Readers will learn to draw all of the most popular bloodsuckers: Victorian vampires, otherworldly vampires, vampire vixens, cool postmodern vampires—as well as vampire hunters and other blood-chilling beasts of the vampire kingdom.

Less experienced artists needn’t worry about biting off more than they can chew because Hart breaks every illustration down into easy-to-digest morsels to make sure even beginners learn how to draw monsters of all kinds. The stakes are high, but the Drawing Vampires book ensures budding illustrators’ efforts won't be in “vein.”

Started looking up the books I either read or breezed through. This was one of them. Back when I drew a lot and was getting into anime. Same with vampires. Fun to draw.
