Your whole world can change in a single moment.
A reckless moment where you let go of your inhibitions and you lose control. I pride myself on never losing control, but somehow, I did with her. I let my desire overtake me, and I took a bite of that forbidden fruit that stood in front of me in nothing but a nightie. I slept with my best friend's little sister, and I regretted it the moment I felt her wrapped around me. Not because it felt bad. No, because, since that moment, nothing has ever felt so right...
My name is Tristan Knight and I'm not your average New York millionaire. In fact, there's nothing average about me. I was born in the projects, and I lived there up until the day I was adopted. My past is a distant memory of fuck-ups and bad luck.
The only thing that kept me from ending up like everyone else on the street was the StoneHaven family. When I met them, I was determined to hate them all. They represented everything I didn't have. Power. Wealth. Control.
At least, that's what I used to think.
Now, as time goes on, I find myself falling in love with their shattered lives... falling in love with the one thing I can't have. Her. Emily StoneHaven.

I fell in Love with this story from the very first lines. Tristan Knight and Emily Stonehaven are the perfect example of "Love knows no Limits." Time, age, a dark past, painful memories, and the memory of the first love lost, seem to be more than enough for any person to give up, but not this time. Vanessa Booke does a wonderful job in bringing these characters to life, and make us join them in a story that takes you along on their path to find each other, once again. I loved Tristan from the very first time he appeared in Bound To You as Nicholas Stonehaven's best Friend, ever since then, I have become so attached to him that I wish I would see him in every book that this wonderful author shares with us. I really need more Tristan and Emily!!! Loved the story, the plot, the struggles and their Love, all together!! Awesome read!!!! More Tristan Please!!!
Tristan Knight finds himself with a family, a very rich one (the Stonehaven's), while his mom is working as their maid. He even has a little sister Emily who takes up residence in his heart. Emily loves her "adopted" brother Tristan but she also has a crush on him. Then this world is snatched from Tristan but 4 years later he ends up back with the Stonehaven's. This time Emily is all grown up and her infatuation with Tristan remains. Can Tristan keep his distance or will history repeat itself? I'm in love with Tristan, his resilience, compassion and willingness to do anything for those he loves. Emily falls into his protective orbit but can he keep that boundary as he starts to see her as the amazing young woman that she truly is. My heart bled a few times during this journey, will these two star crossed lovers find a way back to each other? Is the pain caused by Tristan's desertion too much to forgive? All of the crazy twists and turns had me captivated from beginning to end.
I was so disappointed in this book. It was listed as a bestseller but I think that's due to it being 99 cents. This book is a BDSM which is fine. I liked 50 Shades. But the summary of this book does NOT match the book at all. Out of 300 pages, the characters only spent maybe 20 pages together. The rest of the book is him doing BDSM with other women. There is zero chemistry. I didn't at all feel the longing for each other. Absolutely awful.
Just ok & needs some editing as well
