Drawn to You by Serena Grey is the first book in her Swanson Court series. It is a wonderfully evoking romance that will simultaneously steam your panties off and curl your toes. So, remember that time you went to a swanky party and the guy you have been head over heels for that has firmly placed you in the friend zone shows up with a new fiancee, then you had a fight and left, in tears in the elevator. You needed a moment more to compose yourself so you hit a button on the elevator that took you to the penthouse. You were stuck there, the elevator beeping at you to enter a code when the doors opened and the most forgoes man you'd ever seen was waiting. Yeah, me either as it only happens in books and that's why I LOVE BOOKS!!!!!!! Rachel is distraught and emotional and when Landon opens the elevator doors in his penthouse and mistakes her for a high class hooker she goes with it. A one night stand with the most gorgeous man ever couldn't hurt right? It's what happens after that night when they meet again that will really get you dug in to this story. I steadily watched the corner of my e-reader as it approached 100%, panicking as there was so much more to tell and no time left to tell it! So the cliffhanger isn't life or death, but Rachel & Landon's story is far from over and I want more.

One memorable night changed their lives forever.  Drawn to You is the story of two individuals whose lives collide after a series of unfortunate events. After discovering that Jack Weyland, her long time crush is engaged, Rachel Foster is ready to move on. Yet, it doesn't help that they have to work together. While at a hotel party, Rachel finds herself heading to the penthouse of billionaire, Landon Court. Not been able to tell him that she was there by mistake, Rachel soon finds out that Landon thinks that his brother has paid Rachel to please him as his birthday present. Soon she is enticed by Landon's charms, and passion soon ignites between them. But as the two of them start to grow closer, the more they find that they might just be right for each other.  I enjoyed reading Drawn to You, having not read anything by Serena Grey before I was pleased with the story line and the characters. They met in the least expected circumstances, and they help each other fight their pasts. Landon's personality is overprotective and kind. Whereas, Rachel is a hard worker, but also undeceive. She sends Landon mixed messages whenever they are together, which leads to a disaster at the end, and a cliffhanger as well. Now, the overall story was great, the writing was also well done. I'm intrigued at what is going to happen next between the two of them, so I'm definitely going to be reading the second book of the series. I highly recommend it if you don't mind cliffhangers, which can be a deal breaker sometimes, especially in how this books end (but it keeps me excited for the next book). :) *ARC was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. This book is amazing! I absolutely LOVED IT! Serena Grey is one of my favorite authors. She has a way of writing that makes you feel the emotions of her characters. At times I was laughing out loud at Rachael's cousin Laurie. She was funny in an annoying kind of way. Lol. Then at times I was crying and I felt heart aching for Rachael and the way she keeps her feelings so guarded. Rachael makes a real ballsy decision the night she meets Landon. The chemistry between them is off the charts smokin hot! I highly recommend this book to everyone. I can't wait to get started on the next book.

I'm drawn to Drawn to You. This book is hot, sexy and lives up to the title Drawn to You. From the moment I opened this book I could not set it down. I absolutely fell in love with the tormented sexy billionaire hotelier Landon Court from his finely sculpted Greek god body, dark golden hair, cerulean blue eyes to those full sensual lips. He had me at hello just as he did Rachel Foster when the penthouse elevator doors unexpectedly opened. From that moment on Landon has taken up permanent residence in Rachel's mind leaving her former lover and present love interest playboy/commitment phob Jack Weyland nothing left of her heart or in her thoughts. After Landon assumes the beautiful woman in his elevator is the escort his brother sent for his birthday. Rachel then decides to play the part hoping to get the immediate sting of Jack's engagement off her mind. For just the night Rachel throws herself head first into anything Landon Court wants or so she thought.

A whole lot of badly written sex and no ending. This author decides to leave you off with the female main character, crying just after they break up. Boom..it ends. I understand they want to sell books. But, I refuse to buy a second book..when they could have left out some smut and finished the first. Its just as easy to form your own ending.

I adore this book. The story is told from Rachel’s POV and I liked all the characters from the beginning. We get to know a little bit of every character but the adventure of Rachel and Landon takes in all of the pages because they are constantly hot for each other. A lot of sex scenes are included. The story lets you yearn for more. It’s an enjoyable read and I am eager to jump right into the next book. Finding herself accidentally in sexy hotelier Landon Court's suite, Rachel gets mistaken as a hooker, presumably booked for his birthday from Landon’s younger brother Aidan. Both seem unable to forget this night and Rachel is sure she won’t see him again until she gets assigned to write an article for a new Lounge, where she will find herself drowning in those beautiful eyes of Landon Court. Rachel can’t ignore the strong attraction she feels towards Landon and it seems as if he can feel it too but Landon doesn't seem to be a guy that does love and Rachel has to prepare herself for a heartbreak. How will she manage to survive this? Her feelings for her ex-boyfriend Jake were nothing in comparison to her feelings for Landon. What a great story. I enjoyed every bit of it even though I doubt that any woman would agree to do anything a stranger wants in bed without further explanation. It doesn't matter how hot this guy is, you don't know him. He could be a perverse for all she knows. -- I received an ARC of this book from the author through the Fifty Shades Support Group on Goodreads in exchange for an honest review. --

Holy smokes! The sexual chemistry between landon & rachael is out of this world. But it's more than sex because they are made for each other though they are heart breakingly frightened of loving each other. I had to smile when they first met because landon thinks she's a hooker that his brother sent him & his first comment is "well you're not what I would have chosen"! But, boy, does he change his mind! Fast!

•• ARR provided by author via GoodReads (3.75 stars) Rachel has been in love with Jack for two years. When she's blindsided by his announcement, it sends her reeling. Then, a misunderstanding brings her into Landon's hotel suite. Sparks fly but she never plans to see him again. They agree to continue their affair. No strings, no promises, no future AND we all know how that's going to go. I liked Rachel and Landon together. Landon is hot, sexy and rich. Rachel is a strong, independent woman. I definitely enjoy a woman with a good head on her shoulders and one that is chased and not the one doing the chasing. As their relationship continues I kept begging that her history with Jack would NOT repeat itself. My heart was breaking for Rachel because while she's trying to internalize her feelings, Landon is throwing off mixed signals. I'm rooting for them but I know there's going to be some tears along the way. - "...when you're with me, there's no room for him."

What would you do if a super sexy man thought you were a hooker standing on his doorstep? Well, Rachel, boldly jumps in and enjoys the most amazing night of sex of her life and then she walks away. Landon is bewitched by the woman that appears in the elevator of his penthouse believing she is a hooker sent by his brother. He never expects to be completely captivated by her so when she disappears without a trace, he makes the decision to find her. Rachel finds herself pursued by Landon so she agrees to 1 week, sex and no strings, never realizing she would be risking her heart in the process. Will she be able to walk away after a week? Can she keep her heart out of the equation with a man that doesn’t want commitment? This is a super sexy and erotic read as Rachel and Landon literally combust on the page with each encounter.

From the moment you start this series you will know undoubtably know that you will not be able to put the book down as the chemistry between Rachel Forest and Landon Court is off the charts. The pull these two have for each other even when they are strangers to when they become livers is off the charts....but when one starts to have feelings for the other when it was just suppose to be a one night stand .... Then a week .... The just sex between them has the person afraid to say hat they feel or the other person will run for the hills..... Rachel is a writer for Gilt Traveler and when Landon finds out where and what she does for a living he request her to write a piece on an new lounge and then a new hotel he is opening just so he can see her again and again and again..... But can Rachel let someone else into her already broken heart or will she be afraid that the next person she falls for will break her heart again and she will never recover ?? Can Landon make her see that a relationship with no strings attached is what he wants or does not know how to communicate to her and tell her what're wants because he can't loose another person he loves because they last person he lost devastated him ?? Need to start book 2 now no so will you !!

: 3.75 stars-- DRAWN TO YOU is the first installment in Serena Grey’s contemporary adult SWANSON COURT erotic, romance series focusing on billionaire hotelier Landon Court, and journalist Rachel Foster. Told form first person point of view (Rachel) DRAWN TO YOU focuses on the building relationship between Rachel and Landon-a relationship that began with a case of mistaken identity when Landon believed Rachel was a hooker sent by his brother as a birthday present. Rachel plays along with the lie and walks away believing she will never hear from Landon again but Landon wants to know more about the woman who walked away, and pursues Rachel for something more. DRAWN TO YOU follows Rachel and Landon through the push and pull of a relationship propositioned by Landon but becomes more of a challenge when Rachel is assigned to report on the Swanson Court Hotel acquisitions and remodeling of the classic rooms and business. When Landon asks Rachel to spend one week with him for business and pleasure, our couple begin to lose their hearts and their souls to a love that may never be. Throughout the story Landon and Rachel are in a constant struggle with one another; neither one wants to admit their feelings but Landon is the first to reveal that he wants something more. But our heroine Rachel, seems to be hung up on her cheating ex, and Jack becomes the elephant in the room several times over. Rachel has had a difficult time recovering from her break up with a man who refused to give her something more; and Landon’s tormented past is shrouded in secrets and the death of his mother. We are introduced to Rachel’s best friend Laurie and her boyfriend Brett, as well as Landon’s brother Aiden-an actor who may or may not have a thing for his leading starlet. Rachel’s family is supportive of our heroine’s choices although Rachel refuses to admit that Landon is anything more than friends with benefits kind of relationship. The world building focuses on the Swanson Court Hotel chain and the remodeling of some of the older buildings but we also get up close and personal with Landon as he is unable to promise anything more than the present. In this the struggle between Landon and Rachel is full of anxiety, angst and uncertainty; and for Rachel this means that to walk away is better than to be pushed away later on. DRAWN TO YOU is the first of three installments that looks at one couple’s lack of communication as it pertains to their feelings, wants and needs. The original proposal was entirely based upon sex, but now that the heart has become involved, there is the possibility of heartbreak, pain and betrayal. The premise is intense; the characters are frustrating and energetic; the romance is provocative and intense. DRAWN TO YOU is imaginative and passionate although the characters are frustratingly dense when it comes to love.

Drawn to You has an interesting premise and an intriguing start. I felt for Rachel and her unrequited relationship with Jack--who hasn't been there?--and her stumbling into Landon definitely feels fortuitous. The "thought she was a hooker" part gave it all a different twist. It was a definite plus is Rachel's favor that she doesn't keep her "pay" from him (she does take it, but she gives it away, at least), however, though she tells the reader that the feelings she develops for Landon are totally different from what she felt for Jack, the relationship doesn't feel all that different. In both, she's the one secretly hoping for more while letting the guy be the one in charge of defining their relationship. When she finally voices her opinion on the matter, the book's over--and her relationship might be as well. (Yeah--cliffhanger alert.) We only see things from Rachel's point of view, which didn't really make Landon a terribly sympathetic character. Instead, he comes off as way too good to be true (powerful, gorgeous, rich, killer bod, nice clothes, no need for recovery time, and did I mention obscenely rich?). We're supposed to feel sorry for him given his tragic backstory, but it's hard to when he's cooler about it than a February in Buffalo and is constantly telling the heroine it's none of her business. Ultimately this one just felt too fictional for me to really appreciate. I liked Rachel but wanted her to show more inner strength; I can see the outward appeal of Landon as a hero but he has a lot of ground to make up to really deserve her. Hopefully he'll make that his mission as the series continues.  Rating: 3 stars / C I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

That elevator ride changed their lives. They both have issues. He still deals with the death of his mother in the form of nightly nightmares. She's still dealing with the way Jack treated her, like she wasn't good enough. I know Landon was throwing hints out there about wanting more but he should know to be more straightforward and making comments like "...as soon as a woman starts to demand more than I can give, I walk away" certainly didn't help. Also, what was Rachel thinking? Agreeing to meet Jack for drinks while driving in the car with the man she's currently dating exclusively! Friends or not, Jack is an ex in Landon's mind. I think he had every right to freak out a little bit. And was goodbye for the night or for good? I can't wait for the next book to come out to get an answer to my question! This is my first book by Serena Grey and she's definitely got my attention. * free copy gifted for an honest review ** originally reviewed for welovekink(dot)com

This book is sexy with a capital S! Landon and Rachel are an explosion of steamy sex and sweet romance. Landon Court is utterly delicious. The book is entirely from Rachel’s POV (which I was quite disappointed with) so I have speculate on what he is thinking. However, to me, he found himself wanting to seriously explore a relationship with Rachel and that alone makes him a swoon-worthy hero. I love a good “reformed player” story. There is so much to Landon and as Rachel peels away his layers, I was a little disappointed at how blind she was to his insinuations about being more than just a fling. He is a dedicated and loving brother, has wit and charm, a brilliant business man, and hotter than hell in the bedroom (or anywhere else for that matter). However, he is a little too cryptic with Rachel and at times I really wanted to smack him. Rachel has more cause to fear rejection in this relationship and I felt that he could have been a little blunter. Rachel was just a little back and forth for me. I liked her most of the time, but there were moments when I really just wanted to smack her for being so obtuse. She was seriously burned by her last boyfriend and he is a master manipulator. But, after she meets Landon, I was pretty annoyed at how she let Jack continue to manipulate her (even though she has no feelings for him anymore) and drive a wedge between them. To a certain extent, I sympathize with her fear of laying herself out completely for Landon, but she let that fear take her over the rational edge, making her completely oblivious to some of the signals that Landon was giving her. Rachel also has some depth to her character though, and her relationship with her roommate/cousin is hilarious and heartwarming at the same time. The storyline is pretty straightforward, reformed playboy and the girl who loves him but is afraid to admit it out loud. However, it’s fun and sexy and I was pretty hooked (there could have been just a little more story and a little less sex, which is shocking thing for this girl to say…)The author did a brilliant job of keeping the book interesting by adding in secondary characters that bring the story to life and give a huge dose of fun.  WARNING! It’s a freaking cliffhanger…I hate those because now I will be obsessively watching for the next book. I will absolutely be reading it as soon as I can get my hands on it! Drawn to You is worth the read, I really enjoyed it.

Good story with very hot love scenes. Kind of reminded me of the movie Pretty Woman.
