With some reticence, Dani Bennett signed up with blinddatebrides.com as a spy for the competition. She couldn't afford to be unemployed at the moment, so she went along with her boss' directives to infiltrate Bryce Delaney's organization. Dani did her best to disguise her deception, discouraging any would-be dates from gaining interest in her. Her profile wasn't very attractive and the displayed photograph hardly showed her best assets. Never in her wildest dreams did Dani expect Bryce Delaney himself to contact her! If she refused to date him, might he realize what was going on? So, Dani went out with Bryce, fully expecting him to be just like all of the other men who'd ever shown any interest in her. They'd never seen past her physical attributes to the bright and delightful woman underneath, but Bryce was a different commodity altogether. Handsome and intelligent, Bryce seemed to value Dani for the person she was. He had an addictive appeal and Dani quickly found herself succumbing to his charm. How much longer could she continue to deceive the man with whom she was falling in love? This contemporary romance has much to say about truth, honor, friendship and about how we may misjudge others by their appearance. The face, body and perhaps electronic profile that we display to the world may not necessarily showcase the individual inside. Those with the courage and clarity of vision to see the truth are, therefore, all the more precious.
