Overview

Quinn lifted her hand and knocked on the Chairman’s door, when she heard a deep voice she assumed he was inviting her in and pushed open the door, she gasped loudly for a number of reasons, one Maxwell was devastating handsome, plus he had the most perfect body she had ever seen. How did she know all this, because he was dressed in just his boxer shorts and nothing else.
Quinn immediately realised that working for Maxwell was not going to be easy, he was rude, moody and had the opinion that he was always right.
It wasn't his moods that troubled her it was the fact she was instantly attracted to him. But in Quinns books bosses and PAs do not mix.

Meet the Author

I have been writing for fun for over 20 years. I love reading and decided to have a go at writing a story myself, I didnt have a computer - or typewriter so would fill lots of note books with my writing, when it came to amending etc I would start again re writing from the beginning, it was a great day when my husband bought me my first computer. I also love travel and get ideas for some of the locations in my stories from places I have visited.

Too much miscommunication between Max and Quinn. Quinn was too quick to give up instead of fighting for the man she said she loved so much and Max was a rat bastard for allowing her to believe he was running around. Even when she realized her mistake, Quinn continued on her destructive path while Max did nothing to change the course. While the ending was nice, it just wasn't believable that they turned their relationship around so quickly. I would have enjoyed this book more if the main characters had been given more depth.

I was loving this book UNTIL she became needy and whiny begging for his love and he distanced himself from her by acting like a rat. Also the sleep walking was cute but it became overkill as the story went on. I loved how strong Quinn's character was for the first half but then she turned weepy and insecure. What would have been a 5 star fell to 3.

this was an okay read. I was drawn into the story, but somewhere along the way, the leading lady became very annoying. She almost totally lost sight of who she was, and became a whiny mess. I finiseed it, and it wasnt bad, but I wouldn't read any other books in this series if there are any. I would readother works from this author. She wrote the book well, the storyline didnt totally suck, and she had few distracting errors. I personally just did not care much for this story.

The plot is unoriginal... young virginal secretary catches the eye of the CEO who was wronged by his former wife and therefore no longer trusts any female. Throw in an overuse of sleep walking and the entire thing is simply awful.

A sweet and rommantic book. Nicely paced european book so some words are spelt differently from the way we spell them in the us. ( I'm from the west Indies and we are thought the European way.) A few minor typos. But all in all I found this book to be very entertaining. No over the top sex scene but a definite page turner. I recommend this as one you should check out. It won't cost you a penny. I think the sex could've been a lot steamer after all the fighting between the two main characters and hence the four stars.

Nice romantic story. Maxwell had a strong, unbending personality atthe start but it was equally matched to Quinn's. Some typos were annoying. It was an enjoyable read. fl

Lots of chemistry. Reminded me of the Harlequin Presents of the early eighties. Steamy grabbing kisses...very controlling man... very shrewish woman. The love scenes not pornographic (what a refreshing change). Really good story.
