Overview

The legendary Dolly Parton shares her heartfelt hopes and dreams for everyone.

Expanding on the popular commencement speech Dolly Parton gave at the University of Tennessee, Dream More is a deeper and richer exploration of the personal philosophy she has forged over the course of her astonishing career as a singer, songwriter, performer, and philanthropist.

Dolly elaborates on the four great hopes she wants us all to embrace: Dream more, Learn more, Care more, and Be more. She offers examples from her own life, from her childhood in the hills of eastern Tennessee to her life as the iconic performer she is today.

From one of the legends of our time, Dream More is an honest, funny, and uplifting anthem for all who want to take charge of their lives and forge a future on their own terms.

I love Dolly and her down home advice. She has such a positive attitude and approach to life. She doesn't take herself too seriously. I really like this quick read.

Who would not love to read a book filled with love, wisdom and inspiration from the one and only, Dolly Parton? This book was given to me as a Christmas gift from my father. I was not sure what to expect other than I knew it would probably be an entertaining read. Dolly is more than a mega star and entertainer. She is a smart business woman that has learned a thing or two about being successful. She shares about being successful in this book, but she also shares about reaching for more in all areas of your life - with passion. I am very thankful my father chose Dream More - Celebrate the Dreamer in You as a gift. Dolly's book is well written, fun to read and very inspirational. Although it is just the right length, I found myself disappointed the book ended. I wanted more! One of my favorite quotes from the book is this: "You're not going to see your dreams come true if you don't put wings, legs, arms, hands and feet on 'em."

There is only ONE Dolly Parton! She has come a very long way from poor roots! She is a positive force in my life,  I have looked up to her and followed her positive attitude and inspiration since I was 12 years old. Now as 48 year old adult I still feel her influence throughout my life. This book is Dolly and all that she is! I enjoyed reading it  and have recommended it to others. Thank you Miss Dolly!

Disappointing. Written in her simple no nonsense country girl talk...ok fine. I adore dolly, but i expected more. I expected tales of her life entertwined eith humor. This has no storytellin. Just lots of common sense self help "advice" on beleiving in youself rom a sweet lady. so short i was disappointed. Really only about 50 pages of reading. A recap of a speech she gave with a little extra length but no substance.
