    Sci-fi fav!

I have loved the Dream Thief for the last decade and I cannot tell you how many times I have read it! Lawhead writes with such a descriptive, entrancing style that draws reader into the story. A man on a space station is researching dreams but soon enough his own recurring dreams become the focus of study as he unveils a plot to destroy mankind that only HE can stop! This is a slow read - if you can hang on til the end, you will be well rewarded I promise!

Good read - classic sci-fi with a nice twist...

...Of prescience on the side. Loved Stephen Lawhead for years, so this early work is a fun visit to a developing writer. Enjoyed the seriously nerdy and oblivious protagonist and the eerily familiar (though coincidental) villain. The story carries you along nicely, with a heady dose of science fiction that is not completely out-dated, so makes for a good read and doesn't throw you out of the story. Sci-fi fans will enjoy.
